Landed at Calgary at 13:25. No more landing cards, you are required to self check in digitally. Got to immigration for landing procedures, spent over an hour till it got to my turn. Took about 15 mins for the landing procedures. Just asked the statutory questions and had me sign off. It was quite cold and i was freezing. In August? Wow.
It was a good trip. Thankful to be here. My journey has come full circle. Praise be to God.

Welcome to Calgary!

How can you apply for a program, and you don't meet a basic requirement which is having a relative in the province.. Now you want us to look for relative for you or what? undecided...Come make we conjure relative for you na.

Please I sent you a pm

That Abuja guy is expensive. I bought my jackets in jos.

Please don't buy jacket at 25k. That's almost $100 and it still may not be suitable for Canadian winter.

Hello everyone....pls i need answers...can i book a 2 way (going and coming back) ticket for either KLM or AIRFRANCE airline as a Canadian pr without having a schengen Visa

Yes you can. However ensure it is stopping in only one schengen country, ie: just one stop. If it has two stops in the schengen region then you need a schengen visa. Eg: a flight from Nigeria to Canada with two stops, one in Schipol and another in France. You wi need a schengen visa.

So let me give my review of the Toronto City Pass and the tourist attractions it covers.

Buying online is very convenient and you get your receipt instantly with your email address. It contains a barcode for you and each other person you bought tickets for. The pass is valid for 9 days from date of purchase so I bought it the Saturday morning I planned to go to the attractions.

I recommend visiting Ripley's Aquarium and CN Tower on the same day as they are just steps from each other.

Next recommendation is to visit Toronto Zoo on it's own, you need a whole day to cover the different zones of the zoo.

Royal Ontario Museum and Casa Loma (biggest castle in Canada) are also close to each other so you plan to see both in one day.

You have to make a choice between ROM and Ontario Science Center to complete your pass so I decided to see the Museum with my City Pass as I already got free vouchers elsewhere to the Science Centre.

It took me 2 weekends and a public holiday to see it all and it was well worth it

IMO the emphasis is on UNACCOMPANYING!
That means only YOU and no extra person is allowed to come in with your PR VISA.
Others can weigh in with direct experience.

please can you clarify on these. I thought unaccompanying spouse means without the other spouse only. I thought the spouse can go with thr kids and later file for spousal sponsorship for the other spouse.

AMA phone app. I have recommendation from two people who've passed the test.

Edit: someone i know who used the app without reading the manual failed the test. He passed at second attempt though.

I appreciate your help. I nailed the test on my next outing. @Nekdr and others thanks too.

Is it possible to arrange permanent accommodation prior to arrival in Canada. I need your kind input if you've successfully done this or know someone who did.
