Baba go to Ikoyi office, that's the HQ of corruption in Lagos State for now. If you are patient, you'd get it on that day. If not, you'll be told to come for it the next day.

Trust me, no one processed your file. Even if its been processed, it will reflect on the system in Ikoyi. I am sure you told the official at Alausa your need to travel back. Nigeria is corrupt, i know what i am talking about. I renewed my passport last month at the Ikoyi office (the new passport). I saw the level of corruption live.

I really don't know and you can't quote me on this. What I'm trying to say is that you could go over there (Ikoyi), explain your plight to them and they'll advice you on how to go forward.

I collected mine from there not up to a month now. I never knew they had scarcity of booklet.

i called NIS command Hqters and I was told there is a general technical issue and soon all offices will be served booklets...

I intend to wait till month end....

everything in Nigeria is money. I read somewhere that passport cost around 25k but from what I am reading here it is not the reality.

Has anyone tried the sagamu immigration office?
I tried festac town today and from what I'm hearing from the immigration officials, people that applied for passport in may haven't even gotten theirs.

I don't want to start waiting or join the queue.

You can get your passport today and travel the same day if you have your visa.

Don't even try to backdate your passport because it makes no sense.

Don't travel to any African country just to get a stamp it's pointless, waste of money and time.

Please do things yourself and stay away from dubious agents.
