It's normal. As people begin to grow and collide with reality as they leave the comfort provided by their parents, it's every man for himself. True friendship doesn't exist; every man is looking out for himself; and friends/relatives will easily throw you under the bus when it benefits them. You might be kind hearted and have helped people but they may betray and treat you like trash with ease when you are in need. It's common because human beings will be human beings. Take heart.

Take my advice, don't keep friends. Only have necessary and useful acquaintances and business partners. Stop having emotional connections with people. In a world filled with ravenous wolves, being too nice is a weakness. grin

Lol. Actually, the burden of proof lies on you religious people. If you had any proof for the existence of your god, you would have quickly and gladly presented to shut me up.

Here is why I don't believe in any of the religious gods.
1) They have no evidence or sound logical basis to support their existence.
2) The claims and stories of the holy books are irrational, logically absurd and false.

If I am to believe in any religious god, there must be evidence. Provide evidence. It's not so much to ask from an omnipotent god that wants people to be saved.

How do you know it's a supreme being? Why not a natural process? Let's assume it's a supreme being, how do you know that such supreme being is your own god not the god of another religion?

If everything must come from something, where did your God come from? If you have no problem thinking your God exists without being created, why do have a problem believing that the universe exists without being created?
