kai, see scamming...who is in a position to help this guy, this is sad, it can happen to anyone close to us, the best we can do is prevent this guy from repeating this. Please anyone with experience with handling this kind people should help crest, I dey feel for the guy, so so sad. @Crest keep pushing... dont stop |

Good morning to everyone on this thread, i am very sorry for putting you @Crestedaguiyi through this stress. On the other end, i was very wrong and proud to accept that i was wrong. No two wrongs can make a right. At the moment i and the buyer has concluded on no refunds but the vehicle delivered. No one knows who and who is on nairaland, there could be Some persons that i will surely need tomorrow, i got so many calls from many here, some advising me to accept i was wrong and the possible ways to have a clean track on this, that was love and maturity...and thanks to you all, but i know we live in a country where everything that seems to do with money is a threat to the owner through the net. I am sorry for some rude responses i gave to a few some time ago and recently. I promise to see to it that, the vehicle is delivered safely at wherever he wants it in Portharcourt. Litus the name of the op. He called me this morning to say I should have patient that he is fixing the car and would hand it over to me soon, i insisted on knowing when he said before Friday. I offered to pay him his balance,pick the car as it is and tow it to ph for further repairs. He said ok but that the mechanic has losened the gearbox and that I should wait for it to be coupled. I asked him to have the gearbox put In the car boot, that I will tow everything like that. op agreed to have that done. He promised to call me this evening to let me know so I can plan my trip for tomorrow. I told op I would be in warri tomorrow irrespective of his call |

Money paid in full! Owner has never met me in person! Trusted me,transferred full funds to my account based on trust this night. Without doubts car would be delivered to him without stories. Updates would be posted here. @ Dominion191, If there is still an inch of good in you,which I believe there is,kindly do the needful tomorrow! To be honest I know is a scam but I blamed the buyer for sending money to a total stranger without reputation on nairaland. The rules are clear , don't send money to someone whom you have not met before. The buyer told us that he has done that with someone in the northern part of Nigeria and his car was delivered. I begin to wonder if that person is indeed a Nigerian. I am not saying we are all bad people but is difficult to trust a total stranger with your money. Today I mentioned this case to a man I respect so much and he told me that this is warri scam. That they did it to someone and when the person got to warri to report at the police, the person was shocked to receive a call detailing his activities with the police ..,,with a stain warning for him to leave warri or lose his life....that was how he ran for his life. All I can say is for you to becareful with this dishonest seller. ...If possible accept your fate....and learn from ur mistake.... |
