To be safe, answer yes to the medical question and explain in the space under that you do not consider his condition to be serious and you believe it would not burden their health system. But you would like to be entirely honest and disclose. If you have medical reports from specialists upload as well. You can also submit it to the panel physician during medical exams, although that might not be necessary since the physician would give his own report acceptable to CIC. CIC would use their discretion. If during medicals, they decide it is not a serious case, you would still pass medicals despite answering yes to that question. I answered yes in mine as I thought my health issue would be serious but I still passed. ebixxx: 4 Likes 1 Share |

Make what short? Please we encourage very lengthy PPR stories here. There is always a lot to learn. Don't angry me The shorter your story, the lower your scores SonsOfLiverpool: 10 Likes |

Congratulations!!! This is a first!!! I am so happy for you. I salute your courage. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety you must have experienced living in Nigeria as queers. Now you are safe. Also the long wait post-AOR must have been really disturbing. You score 9.9/10. Take this badge of courage for you and bae. All the best in Canada Sandydav: 12 Likes

gretop: This is sad. Did you attach exchange rate of that day you submitted your application? Difference of 430k should give you a strong buffer zone. I think you should raise a CSE for your application to be reopened and also call them. Liquidate your PoF and put it in Fixed Deposit. 1 Like |

Thanks silversurfer1, nanaf, dynamitee, ladymarshall, hayoakins and mariesio. I will call both hospitals and tell them I have a certified copy of the Passport and see if they will accept. If accepted, I'll explain in LOE with proof of submission at VFS. Will update. Thanks again everyone. 4 Likes |

Yes he had. He did BSc but didn't do his qualifications. He later decided to try his qualifications in order to increase his score, and that was when he paid just an extra 40k. DexterousOne: |

After PNP, you will still pass through the regular Express Entry process (post-ITA) when the province has given you nomination. If a province has nominated you for work in a particular NOC, I think that work experience should be in your EE profile as well. Omowunmibaby: 3 Likes |

It would not. My POF account stopped having any outflow the day I decided on the EE journey. CIC can't tell you how to spend your money but the source of the funds must be clear. DexterousOne: 2 Likes |

Good day family. I’m happy to be here. With immense help from this platform (by being a silent reader) I’ve been able to get a good IELTS score LRSW 9/9/8/7. I took the test with British Council, I opted for the computer delivered option for the IELTS as the results were available within 3 working days. I’m based in Accra. I also selected the computer delivered option because the Writing section had a word count :-) I’ve completed my WES evaluation in a little over a month. I evaluated only my MSc. My current CRS is 451 as I’m 34 years. I’m hoping there are others in my boat so we can encourage each other towards this journey. God be with us all. 22 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello guys, I am am over 5months post Aor and I have a little concern regarding my proof of funds, I gave my spouse about 16500 CAD in November last year as support because she is the primary applicant. and i work as a systems analyst. The account history for 6months before we submitted our application is as follows: Sep 2018 --- 4300 CAD October 2018 --- 4250 CAD November 2018 --- 16500 CAD December 2018 --- 18000 CAD January 2019 --- 21932 CAD Ferbruary 2019 --- 23000 CAD Is this account history OK for our proof of funds, hope the bulk sum in November will not raise a flag? I added an LOE just stating that the funds came from me and it’s readily available to us at anytime. Note: we are a family of 2 and current requirement is 15777 CAD. Hope we re good. 3 Likes |

Yes it is fine. Attach an LOE that the money is your personal savings accrued overtime. That was what I did (although mine was a combination of savings, salary and income from my personal biz) so the inflow trail was clear. You would need to explain the money from your cousin. Was it a loan, gift deed, diaspora remittance from family etc. If it's a loan, that's unacceptable. If it's remittance, explain it in LOE, diasporas across the world send money to their family back home to care for them, your coz in the US did that, it's a global wide acceptable phenomenon. If you have proof of the wire transfer attach. If it's a gift deed, you would need a signed document from him/her. The decision to use a gift deed or not for your coz transfer would probably depend on how much your coz transferred. If out of $20 000 in your account, your coz transferred $1000 or $2000, you can explain it away as remittance. That can be overlooked. But if your coz transferred $5000, $10000 or more to you, you can't just claim its remittance, you would need a gift deed. Study your inflow and put yourself in the VO's shoes. You are fine. Your wife is the PA and the VO knows the money came from you, the spouse. The source of the PA's funds is what is scrutinized not the source of the source of the PA funds, you get? Oh well, except it was Boko Haram or ISIS that paid you before you paid your wife, in which case your name will be flagged red during security check Ignore the dark joke, you're fine padix: 3 Likes 1 Share |
