Yup, just add all. In case anyone wants to claim sibling points in the future (which half/step-siblings are permitted to do). And also, so you can sleep well at night.

In few more pages, we'll be moving to part 9. We're getting close to 500+

The new page one should be updated with latest information on ECA especially the new processing timelines;
Information on applying as self-employed should be added.
Sample of gift deed too
@Sandydav PPR story should also be added as a guide for queers in Nigeria who also want to apply/and common-law applications as well as child custody when letter of consent from one of the parent cannot be gotten.

Any other vital info?

It's been an amazing journey thus far for me as i joined this thread in this part. Kudos to everyone who has made this happen.
Dear people, please keep away from asking questions that have been answered in the upcoming threads. Try to do a little research, you are not the only busy/lackadaisical one. Try Try Try. It's your future. Invest time in it.

I'm surprised your score is that low. Are you married or do not have any work experience?

Good day family. I’m happy to be here. With immense help from this platform (by being a silent reader) I’ve been able to get a good IELTS score LRSW 9/9/8/7. I took the test with British Council, I opted for the computer delivered option for the IELTS as the results were available within 3 working days. I’m based in Accra. I also selected the computer delivered option because the Writing section had a word count :-) I’ve completed my WES evaluation in a little over a month. I evaluated only my MSc. My current CRS is 451 as I’m 34 years. I’m hoping there are others in my boat so we can encourage each other towards this journey. God be with us all.

Using XE Converter, is 16,400 CAD okay as POF for a family of two?

Celebrating small wins.

On the quest of increasing my CRS scores, I started the CIMA journey few months ago. I weighed my options then between BCS and CIMA and I found that CIMA would be the fastest, but it came with a price, "Hard work and total dedication". I just passed the certificate level (BA1 - BA4) and will start with the evaluation this week. It took me approximately four months to complete. Preparing for my IELTS now.

Whatever you need to increase your score, JustDoIt.

Las las, all road leads to Maple land.

Hi, I’m single and have 7 years experience in my NOC. Should I be getting a different score, especially with my age?

1. Common-Law Application: I think the major highlight of part 8 is @Sandydav's PPR here. Definitely a page 1 material.

2. Applying as self-employed: Information on applying as self-employed exists on PPR stories by njbybrthnly, shyee and bigfido and on some other posts/comments.

3. Gift Deeds: A gift deed sample can be found here. More details on gift deeds shared by @cochtrane here.

4. Child Custody: here

5. Search: The need to take advantage of the information found on Page 1 and the entire threads cannot be overemphasized. I think almost everything EE/FSW-related has been pretty much covered from Parts 1-8. Let's learn how to search for information people! Nairaland's search text field is right there under our noses. How to search the "Canadian Express Entry" thread.

6. Reducing the length of your quote: How to shorten the length of your quote when replying a post can also be found here.

7. CIMA vs BCS: The testimony found here might help someone.

8. Specific case of application previously approved and cancelled to include spouse: Posts from @Liz2014 here and here. Responses here and here. Feedback from @Liz2014 here.

It will end in sweet praise for us all.

All the best.
Thank you so much LadyMarshall. I’m single at the moment so earnestly waiting on draw scores to come down.

I think that once you turn 30, your CRS reduces by 3 points, and an additional 3 points for every year after. For you at 34, that means if you had applied at 29, all other things being equal; your score would have been 15 points more, which is 466. Seems your score should have been 454 tho... but I think the highest band for speaking is 7.5 and not 7 (i may be wrong). That explains your 451, if you had gotten 7.5 in speaking you would have gotten 3 points more. Still, its a great IELTS score... you just have to be patient I think... the scores are coming down it seems so you may have a chance.

Hello everyone...

Congrats to all who received ITA yesterday...I wish everyone more and more good news..

Please I have a quick question...I intend to enter the pool next week when my ECA will be ready. I will be filling out my profile with my maiden name cos that’s d name currently on my international passport. However, my passport expires in October after which I will process a new one but with my married name this time. I expect to have received ITA by then. Question is can I change the name on my profile to my married nme post ITA? I would have just applied for a new passport now and do the name change before joining the pool but there are no booklets at the moment.

Please help me. Can I apply for a different job for pnp and another one for express entry. I want to apply for pnp as a baker and digital marketer for express entry. Is it possible?

Thanks

No you can't. You got your nomination based on your NOC. If you change it, it invalidates the nomination. You can also check some pages back. Someone posted something similar

Thanks a lot, ladymarshall!
I really appreciate!

ladymarshall:
To be safe, answer yes to the medical question and explain in the space under that you do not consider his condition to be serious and you believe it would not burden their health system. But you would like to be entirely honest and disclose. If you have medical reports from specialists upload as well. You can also submit it to the panel physician during medical exams, although that might not be necessary since the physician would give his own report acceptable to CIC.

CIC would use their discretion. If during medicals, they decide it is not a serious case, you would still pass medicals despite answering yes to that question. I answered yes in mine as I thought my health issue would be serious but I still passed.

You’re right, but it’s the Writing module that did me in. I needed 7.5 but had 7. A full CLB 10 (LRSW 8.5/8/7.5/7.5)would have have given me a higher score
