MY TRANSCRIPT

I had my interview this week. I got to the embassy at 6:34AM. I followed the arrangement of documents that was shared here.

Application form
Declaration form
Passport data page
Admission letter
Proof of funding
Age declaration
Biographic old data
Primary school cert
Secondary sch cert.

ML
CV

I was interviewed by a dark older woman in one of the cubicles close to the gate.

She checked my documents and saw I funded my BA with 8640 and she asked if I was aware of the new BA amount, I said yes. So she gave me a form to sign and told me to top up.

Interview proper
BSc course
Name of the intended course
Name of intended school
Why this course
Campus of the intended course
Tell me what you know about Germany (geography, economy & politics)
Why Germany
Why not USA, Canada
Why not Nigeria

At the end of the interview, she advised me to fund as soon as possible.

Hi there,
I funded with access. I opened my account on 23rd of July(Tuesday), I was given a form to fill, and I was not able to use the account till Friday because one of my reference (you have a form for 2 references) does not Bank with access,so it took longer to verify. I took an Aboki (spoke to one at Eko hotel round about) to access, he handed the money over to the lady at the counter,it hit my account and I transferred the Naira equivalent to his account. I got confirmation from Fintiba on (30th July). Access Bank limit is 10K Euro. Charges range between 32-35k (Remember to tick the box saying "charges should be removed from my Naira account"wink
johnaolaniran:
Please who funded his/her block account with access bank? How did you do it? W_ere you able to transfer the whole 10k + at once? Approximately how much is their bank charges? Thanks

It also says “and being accepted into a masters program”. Why do we ignore that part? If you have being accepted into a masters program, even if it was 5th class, you qualified for category A.
As long as it is a Masters degree.
"And" is entirely different from "or"
"And" is what the consulate said. "Or" is what you're advising..

Hello everyone those whom has made it through and are yet to get there to their dreams , God will make it possible

Please if anyone will be so patient and kind enough to help me answer these questions, I am civil servant and I started working since 2004, I have an HND in banking and finance from Fedpoly Oko , anambra (2004) please is there a university that will give me admission to do a post graduate or masters in Germany please help I will appreciate this favour from anyone here to show me any University that will grant me these long awaited desire or where to look up to and read through, I do not want to do random guessing or fall into the hands of fake student visa agent , I urgently need to do this programme to upgrade in my place of work . God bless everyone
Let me chip in my own quota.

I'll be contributing based on the parts I boldened, as those are the critical parts of what you posted.

You're welcome to this thread. I can assure you that you're in the right place, and studying in Germany is a very straightforward process, which you can do from the comfort of your house without agents or intermediaries.

Observation 1: You have an HND. Naturally, Holding an HND will not make you eligible for Masters admission in public universities (whether tuition free or tuition fee), but you will be considered in private universities.

Observation 2: You have about 15 years work experience which I want to believe is in line with what you studied. If this is the case, you have a big beam of hope. I'll mention that in my recommendations.

Observation 3: you don't want to do random guessing, neither do you want to fall into the hands of fake agents. Good! That's why you are here. To make this possible, there are some steps and procedures you need to be acquainted with. I understand you might be busy, but try to read through these pages in this part 7, especially from page 1. You'll grasp some terminologies, procedures and guidelines that will ensure nobody can come to you and utter balderdash.

Observation 4: you need to do this program urgently so as to secure a promotion at your place of work.

Combining these my observations together, I pulled up these inferences and recommendations
1. You are no longer an entry level officer at your place of work, so I'll suggest ruling out applying for a Bachelors program because that will take 3 years to complete, and I don't know if the civil service can grant you 3yrs for study leave.
2. You have a very rich work experience.
Go to www.daad.de/en
Click on search study programs. You will be able to search for masters programs that fit your line of study. As you are finding them, prepare a standard email that you will send to the course coordinators of each school you encounter in the search. In the email, introduce yourself and your academic achievements, as well as your solid work experience, any additional professional certification you have, as well as trainings you have received in the course of your employment. Scan your necessary documents: certificates, transcripts, employment letter, promotion letter, everything that can add more weight to you, and send to these coordinators, seeking to know if you can apply to their masters programs. I can assure you that for every 10 emails you send, you'll get 9 replies. Those that give you a go-ahead to apply, visit their website and check out the application procedure and period. Those that will tell you not to apply, bye-bye to them.
3. From my observation 4, if this program is urgent as you said, then you might have to opt for private universities, just like GISMA that you mentioned earlier. If you have the funds ready, then quickly send your application to them and get it done. I advise this because you are already working, not even 2,3 or 5 years experience, but 15years. No be say you wan dey hustle entry level jobs again. So if you have the financial capability, save yourself the stress of finding public universities and do your program in a private university sharply and complete it.

Conclusion: You're in the right place. Feel free to ask your questions, they will be attended to.

If you need to reply this post, just cut off everything above this present paragraph so that the thread doesn't get elongated.

Once more, you're welcome.
God bless you too. smiley

Good day guys, please I have a small issue. I applied for an appointment on July 15th but I'm yet to get a date, my resumption date was 2nd October. I have already received admission letter from LMU. Any advice or suggestions?
Mehn, You got admission from one of the toughest schools to enter in Germany.
So sorry you haven't gotten an appointment yet.
As you await the Embassy, Mail your school if they can extend resumption for you, or preferably, if they can defer for you till summer. Wish you well bro.

Good evening all,

I funded my BA before the increment, and now I want to top it with the additional amount as my V.O adviced I should. I’m using Fintiba and I have already asked them for a new invoice indicating the amount I’m to add to what I previously funded but I haven’t gotten a response.

Please I’d like to know if I can fund with the previous invoice and fund the amount from my calculations.
Since you've sent them a mail requesting for an updated invoice, just chill for them. They'll process it and send to you. I requested for mine too. It came after 4-5 days.

Good evening all,

Please i need your advice.

I opened my blocked account with coracle and I am entitled to free travel insurance if i register with their public health insurance providers however I fall under the category of private health insurance.

My question is, can i go ahead and register with the public health insurance in order to get the free travel insurance and then cancel when i arrive in DE ?
Lol!!!
You want to eat your cake and have it.
Contracts are binding bro. It will be difficult to register for public insurance already, then cancel it and go to private, especially when you're already in the age range where you can use private insurance without restriction

Why not kuku register the private from here, use axa Mansard travel insurance. It's 17k or thereabout.

Ps: The transcripts here were super helpful. Thanks nairaland. Also Turkish airlines is doing N184kish flights to Germany from Abuja. I think it’s even cheaper from Lagos. Go to Turkish airlines directly and not an agent to get the student discount to get that price. And if they don’t agree, call the Abuja office, they have the option of doing everything online.
Congrats go and succeed

i booked for AD on Aug 8th
and stated 1 oct as start date.

Now a friend is asking me to cancel because he said the AD is filled.

Please what is the right thing to do? wait or cancel?

Don't cancel if ur start date is really October 1 u can ask ur school for an extension.because u might get a date on time and ur extension letter might come before then that's how I did mine I booked before asking for an extension and I didn't regret doing that because it worked in my favour don't try and cancel.
