And it is just silly how people are throwing Ogun about as if there is something distinctly excellent their governor did to attract investments other than the fact the state is next to Lagos and is currently benefiting from the economic spill over from Lagos...I can confidently tell anybody that care to listen Ogun is behind Anambra in every other sector. Anambra has been on a steady rise since Ngige.

I think so many people don’t know how to read and and understand what they are reading.

Governor never said that Anambra economy will be bigger than Lagos.

The Governor said that (using the current trend of investments into the state) he projects Anambra will surpass Lagos in new investments.

What is controversial about the statement or does it mean that Nigerians lack reading comprehension.
This is what has been baffling me with these haters, many have never been to Anambra but choose to be experts on Anambra.
And for those making it look as if the economy of Lagos is great, have you considered the population vis-à-vis the GDP? Don't give me any Wikipedia stats, we need NBS stats.
China's GDP is greater than those of Hong Kong, Singapore, Norway combined but can they please tell us if the Chinese GDP per capita is close to those other countries? Lagos that is full of slums, poor and wretched, what's the need of the huge GDP of Lagos when it's not reflected in Lagosians because of the huge population?

Talk is cheap sha... because of small estate investment that not value one acres at Eko Atlantic city. Anambra can overtake New york or Shanghai no problem..

You're comparing a caricature with the real deal. What's the Anambra 'ge-bu' bridge called again?

Education, security , housing , healthcare, Agriculture...etc. And , I am not sure you are from Lagos but it seem Lagos is doing to Yoruba youths what oil is doing to Niger Delta youths. But, honestly Lagos is mostly slum ...the place is nothing to be prideful.

In infrastructures,Ogun staten is far above Anambra.
In education,Ogun state has the highest number of higher institutions, way above Anambrra.

In Industry,Ogun state is the most industrialised state in Nigeria..Anambra is very much below Ogun state.

In total development ,Ogun staten is more developed thand Anambra.

These are a few infrastructures in Ogun state:

I meant performance and excellence in education.

In infrastructures I am dead serious, if proper comparisons are made Ogun will fall short...I am being honest with you. Anambra has produced back to back administrators who has continue to invest massively in infrastructures. Where is ?

40 years ke? Try 'not ever'. The most intelligent analysts will tell you there are constraints you cannot escape. Lagos host 18-20 million people making it the biggest single market in Nigeria. What is Anambra's population? Dangote refinery being constructed in Lagos will be the biggest in Africa. Can Anambra attract such investments? We have to ask if Obiano is smoking crack or this is just the usual case of ant (SE) comparing itself to an Elephant (SW) ??

Does Obiano know how many foreign investors, to include some of the world's biggest businesses, have secured stakes to host their headquarter at Eko Atlantic in Lagos?

Well-informed and objective Nigerians know that the only feasible scenario is that Lagos will pull further ahead of other states in future given it natural endowment, currently under-utilised, that other state will never be able to match.

LAGOS STATE, EKO.

ODUDUWA LAND!!
Re: Anambra’ll Soon Overtake Lagos As Top Investment Destination, Obiano Boasts by OMANBALA1: 3:44pm On Aug 22, 2019
Again , the only reason Ogun is in the limelight is squarely because of their strategic location not because of their intelligence...and the only booming sector is industry due to their proximity to Lagos....on the other hand , Anambra is making waves because of wisdom and intelligence of their administrators and the natives. Ogun is not a competition to Anambra in all honesty.

If I were you I wouldn't brag about something I didn't build, thats one. Secondly, Lagos lacking massively in infrastructures with all the over taxation and billions they rake in everyday...its not a conducive place to live nor raise children. You are ffucking shortsighted but you want to win a argument...smh

Lagos is being develop by all Nigerians and others, most of the biggest investments in Lagos are not Yorubas, easterners, notherners and others are major stakeholders in Lagos, unlike Anambra State that is being developed by Igbos, fact Anambra trashed typical Yoruba states

When it's convenient for you people, you shout and rave that you have Yoruba people and Yoruba community in the whole of SE, but all of a sudden, you don't have people from other parts of Nigeria working and paying taxes in Anambra.

So, you mean only Anambra people work, invest and pay taxes on Anambra state? Or you mean Lagos state is the only state where there are people from other parts of Nigeria.?

You people and your lame, deceptive, and weak argument sef. grin

Never in my life have I seen any building that was built by Yoruba man in Anambra State, the rich ones stays in rented Apartments, while low class always occupy uncompleted buildings, just few are paying taxes
