Forgive me l am jumping in at the tail end.

Are we the NFF considering a player who has played just 17 games in the Bundesliga 2 for national team call up.

The season just started.

So we are only 3 games in.

He has played 17 games in the lower division.

He is most likely going to end up with the under 23.

Of course! Good to them all. But are you sure Shehu is gone for good?

U would play a Turkish second division midfielder as a makeshift RB, ahead of Bundesliga, Serie A and Benfica stars?

If it’s true

ChrisKels:
Ehizibue who recently moved to German
Bundesliga side Cologne from Dutch side
PEC Zwolle was lined up for his maiden call
up after pledging his allegiance to Nigeria, but his clearance(paper works) could not get done in time by FIFA.

komekn please don't put sand on our garri...

the nff wanna cap tie him and then send him to the under 23...better to have young players like this in the under 23 than the oldies we often parade....

hope you get it now....?

Then stop trying to undermine other people statements without understanding what they said.

You can make your point without doing that.

I don't understand some peeps reason being here on this thread....

what's bad in capping a 19 years old who has show so much promise at his age....

we can as well send him to the under 23 like you said...after that.
I don't understand why some persons here just wanna have their way at all time

Why u dey bring tribe into the matter na? What has that got to do with Akpoguma?
ChrisKels:

I think he is a better player than Dumfries. And he didn't pledge his allegiance recently. He actually did after seeing the success of Ebuehi who happens to be a fellow Edo boy, and also share same agent with.

Like i once said, Edo boys easily get swayed to pick Nigeria ahead of their counties of birth unlike Igbo and Yoruba guys. How old is akpoguma yet he ain't giving up on his unfeasible German dreams.

Don't be surprised to see uduokhai make his eagles debut b4 December

I think Akpoguma is from Delta state...
anyway... the parents influence tells a lot too....

I am so happy for this info

Actually 18 games cumulatively, if we are to add the 3 he has played in Bundesliga II this season.

Okay! We can accept 17 = 15.

I don't know what you mean by scrab maybe you wanted to say crap. Talking about players doesn't mean promote but if that's how you see it.

In this context players l have talked about in recent times and still talk about as good prospects for the SE.

Ademola Lookman
Dominic Iorfa
Seyi Ojo
Moses Odubanjo
Oviemuno Ejaria
Tega Onomah
Tega Abrahams
Joe Aribo
Chuks Aneke

Are all CRAP according to you

Now if l say you are blinded on faceless forum by indepth twisted sentiment based negative prejudice.

You will say you are not but you are being objective.

I don't reply to nonsensical propositions because it gives it semblance of rationality.

But l have indulged you today.

If not for your blinded incomprehensible hatred that has befuddled your senses compare Udokhai and Jordan Torunarigha. To the players above and tell me who is on the ascendancy.

Germany is miles ahead ahead of England in football talent, Chei see how you deh reason it's COMICAL

negative prejudice is the word bro....you can say that again...

those words are your signature... NEGATIVE PREJUDICE

anyway for the last paragraph you're just trying to defending mediocrity...
everyone knows that Germany is miles ahead of England when it comes to talent wise both in male and female football...

please give me their national team stats.
how many trophies won by both nations...

and for those borough boys you listed... some of them there are not good enough for the super eagles...the ones good enough wanna play for the 3Lions, so we should keep waiting for them.... abi?
while they take us as second option...

we will woo any dual-nationals who is eligible to play for us....and give them the opportunity to show their stuffs...
okay...when your borough boys are ready they will get the chance

Did u know Ekpolor openly declared for Nigeria even as the captain of the great La masia, Osede was a strong part of Real Madrid and Spain youth system when he stated how green his blood was, look at Ebuehi, look at Ehizibue. Before u start una usually infantile name calling, I am a staunch igbo through and through, buh I give to Edo parents in diaspora.

Where is Ekpolor from?

Modified
Full name, Elohor Godswil Ekpolo.

And what influence did VicMo’s parent have I. His decision to play for Nigeria?

At the bolded is where I hail Edo patents.

Guy trust me whenever a European born Nigerian pops up and the player is Edo by origin, I don't lose sleep, but same can't be said when he is igbo or Yoruba. Just negodu Ogbonna, Onuoha, Ibe, Anyanwu, Ikechi Anya, Obinze Cole et al

So is it now the environment or their parent’s influence. How about Victor Moses? Whose influence was it?

he came from the family of Pa Egharevba in Benin.....

When l compared both of them to Dominic Iorfa who was then playing for England and Wolves as a first team first choice player.

I was called bias and accused of being his agent over hyping him, he denied Nigeria.

These two German boys have done exactly what Tammy has done. But we still keep begging them

In my opinion even Odubanjo who is now coming back to form after injury is better than them. Indeed IMO technically he is better than Iorfa. However, for the physicality of the English game, Aerial dominance and pace Iorfa has the advantage , in addition Iorfa is also CB.

But for the position of RB with Nigeria in consideration our technical style of play my view is that Odubanjo may have may have the advantage. But open to debate but he would be the best option seemingly.

@ bolded .what has Tammy done?

I remember vividly when u said we shouldn't believe the news we read about him shunning Nigeria..that it was media hogwash... u also said d meeting he had with Pinnick most likely had nothing to do with playing for the super eagles...
don't come and ask for proof o.. I'm sure everybody on this thread remember too..

When I said Rohr should call up fresh players for the Ukraine game u were saying something else...

Our regular players missed pre season with their clubs because of AFCON
Some of those on the list for the Ukraine game like Iheanacho and Onuachu haven't even played this season..Onuachu for instance just joined a new club. he will need time to settle in..Even Iwobi still needs time to settle in at Everton.. No need to rush them back to the national team...
