can you name them? foreign born players who are yet to declare interest playing for us or yet to be cleared by fifa are exclusive
Earthquake1:

We have many untested midfielders at the moment

Aribo is just the beginning

remarks on aribo

Joe Aribo looks at home in Europe

The midfielder was seen as a key signing and he's showing exactly why. The elastic limbed all-rounder is proving to be a tremendous acquisition already and looks much more than the attacking midfielder he was billed as on arrival.

Aribo looks like a player with a multi-faceted skillset that has serious growth potential.

He used the ball well, tackled and pressed with intensity and has adapted to life at Rangers with an ease that few much bigger names have demonstrated.

serious how? i need facts to clear my doubt. can you name another good ball carrier/box to box midfielder in europe's top leagues that rohr have ignored since he took over?

esiti and bonke are DMs and ndidi is miles ahead of them while igbekeme is a cm who also can be deployed as an AM and i bet you if he signs for a laliga side and performs decently rohr won't hesitate to give him a chance

all am against is undue criticism towards rohr. many here atimes make insinuations as if we have loads of midfielders both cm,dm and am in top leagues in europe who re better than what we have in the team but rohr ignores them.

in the eagles set up, the midfield department is one section that gives rohr alot of worries and if he can fish out 1 or 2 players who can fortify that department he won't hesitate to call them up.

Many here doubted aribo will ever get a look in just because he is in the Scottish league but his performances so far have made a way for him to the team which signifies that rohr's scouting team is doing a great job.

I think what we need most is a decent ball holding midfielder(preferably a CM) Aribo looks like he fits the bill, Esiti I think is also solid on the ball,I will judge Igbekeme and Bonke on their performances in the GWG

Note that club and country performances are not the same

esiti a ball holding midfielder? esiti is just like spurs victor wayama with slow pace. all brawl with no footballing intelligence and ndidi is miles ahead of him.

Bonke is a perpetual bench warmer at malmo ff while igbekeme is a good diminutive creative player. he is one midfielder i pray makes the leap to the laliga soon.

the problem in the super eagles midfield is not the lack of a dm but a cm who can initiate attack with ease, score goals and help defensively as well and the 2 who comes to mind judging by currently performances are aribo and ejaria.

i just pray ejaria sustains his present form. the lad is doing marvelously well in reading but the season is still very young

Well concerning Esiti as far as he keeps up his club performances, he would be within a shout of the GWG

As with Bonke and Igbekeme, we are short in the midfield department so we are not in a position to choose so I say we invite them

After komekn posted that Aribo would be a competition to Ndidi, u alluded that ,that competition would bring out the best in ndidi, in other words u agreed Aribo was coming in as a DM. that's it below

Earthquake1:

Aribo will bring out the best in Ndidi, Etebo is a DM and Ndidi likes to own the defensive midfield spot

Earthquake1:

Yes Etebo plays primarily as a DM, CM and BtB are just nomenclatures

yeah...competition makes the team better..

I see him as someone who will compete with etebo for the CM role...Ndidi is primarily a DM... the conservative kind..that sits deep to defend...

not until Rohr change the play style to be a full fledged attacking team...Ndidi will keep sitting deep to shed the defenders.....

for now Aribo can compete for the CM role

Unfortunately in modern football it's not enough to just sit deep and fefenf. You must very quickly move from defence to attack.

That's what gives you the edge and moves you up the ladder. This is something that Ndidi must learn and improve on. Football is highly competitive if you are not improving you are regressing.

Soon other small boy players will overtake you.

It should be noted with caution nobody really came in for Ndidi. That tell us something. We may hail him all we like but PSG decided to buy a near 30 years ago old DM. Did they not see Ndidi.

Aribo brings defensive battle ready but offensive capacity to the DM position.

Finally Aribo is very hungry if Ndidi is rested it will be good to see how he performs against Ukraine.

you derive joy quoting someone out of context sometimes. i never said igbekeme should be invited to the super eagles anytime soon but didn't argue the fact that he is good.

he started strongly with zaragoza but had a long injury lay off which affected his performances later on. all i said is [/b]if he makes the leap to laliga and performs well rohr will definitely give him a chance to prove himself in the team

My friend stop making noise abeg. it is obvious u know nothing about the player u write of. Aribo doesn't play DM. he only plays CM (primarily) and AM - secondarily

to get the best out of aribo judging by his style of play,he should be deployed as a cm at the expense of etebo. i am looking at future engagements not just the ukraine friendly.

aribo is a goal threat moving forward with good passing range so ignoring this qualities by deploying him to sit back and defend won't bring anything different from what ndidi and etebo have been doing in the team. even i will prefer etebo to sit at the front of the back 4 while aribo is deployed as the cm/box to box midfielder.

'Also aribo's presence will also bring out the best in alex iwobi when the team is on the offensive because the latter seem isolated in the middle when on the ball trying to initiate an attack

Rohr deployed Balogun as a DM against Cameroon and Tunisia in Afcon and it worked out very well. Balogun is a ball-playing defender unlike Omeruo and Ekong. Ball-playing defenders can also be utilized as DMs (Semi Ajayi) I believe in future tourneys Rohr can use some of these guys to come in for Ndidi cos he works too much and he can burn out

Iwobi has good passing and dribbling skills, but very poor in shooting and scoring. Also gets missing in games sometimes. That's where Aribo comes in. Very good shot, sweet left foot. Knows the back of the net. Also a midfield engine. I only pray Rohr gas the guts to utilize him further forward

As far as he's decent with the ball at his feet that's what we're looking for

There's a huge hole in that midfield

and b2b midfielders don't have passing abilities? what you define as a b2b is a midfielder who can move with the ball forward confidently when attacking,a goal treat and can also return to help put defensively.

You see why i always call you bias, i am sure if ndidi is UK brought up you will be singing praises

So because PSG got gueye you think ndidi is not good enough, teams and coaches have their choices of players, psg didn't go for ndidi doesn't make him a bad player and mind you gana gueye is a cheaper option, you your self know this, you cant get ndidi for 29 million, thou i am not using that as an excuse

Now let me educate you

Manchester united got aaron wan bissaka , does that mean he is better than all available options? he is not even better than kieran tripper, i wont even mention more, when Liverpool got robertson from the championship , are they not other available options of left back in the epl that they skipped them to get Robertson

Gana gueye is a good player but at age 22/23 which is ndidi age he was playing in a small french club

Manchester united got a certain winger daniel james from swansea in the championship, are there not better wingers in the epl? or you want to say that they skipped wingers in the epl just as psg skipped ndidi right?

Ogbeni komekn you self dey think before you yarn ooo
