I saw them yesterday when biggie played songs to commemorate Esther's birthday. Both of them looked so lonely and sad. Omashola was trying to mask his by dancing, but Venita couldn't hide hers. She was just sitting in the Keke throughout with a forlorn look on her face. I actually pitied for her.

Any closeness you notice between her and Omashola is simply case of two extroverted individuals gravitating towards each other in order to ward off loneliness. Although Omashola will likely benefit more from this closeness because he still likes Venita.
