Tumbulum:This your belief has it been tasted over time by people and they still have wealth? Check well those families who retain wealth for ages don’t behave or have this belief. Do your research. They spend when they can truly afford it. |

Bamz:I have investment on tb and I know that it's important to invest but at the same time life should be lived to the fullest. If I earn 3 to 5million per week I wouldn't mind blowing away 250k in a night as long as it is done once in a long time. I believe in calculated and wise spending but my dear the end result of money is not just for the money itself, the end result should be for good living, making oneself happy and having all the other good thing that money can buy. 8 Likes |

Tumbulum You're right. I believe in calculated and wise spending but my dear the end result of money is not just for the money itself, the end result should be for good living, making oneself happy and having all the other good thing that money can buy Maybe I'm just bothered about semantics. You see how the paragraph above contradicts the one below: If I earn 3 to 5million per week I wouldn't mind blowing away 250k in a night as long as it is done once in a long time. Blowing money away seems like waste, uncalculated and unwise spending. Maybe I read too much inbetween the lines. 6 Likes |

I just realized that the more money I make the less I want to spent on frivolities. I see potentials in every kobo. I only spend when I surpass my targets and it must be on an item that is equally on the waiting list. Growing up about 2014 and 2016, I will consciously put 500k In my pocket and wouldn't get home till it finishes. Sometimes 3 to 4 days despite the clubbing, Uyo is moderate spending. But when I realized every kobo has potential of bringing in money. Even at gun point I wouldn't try that. Am busy thinking of how to raise 500k from 5m for school fees this Sept as I type. The fun in life lies in the eyes of the beholder, that thing you call fun is stress to some other. I indulge in excess so that when I stop, you can't take me back. Right am building a billion Maura Empire from clean sweat so no distractions. Been there, done that. Now is time to focus after regretting wasting money in the first 5 years of my small hammer. If it gives you joy, do it. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Barrytone: We're on the same page my friend. I compiled somethings on Amazon to buy weeks ago. I lost count of the number of times I had to go to that list to be sure I actually needed these things. Buying things or spending on a whim is almost normal when money comes but when you remember the efforts taken or risk involved in getting that income, you'll set your priorities right. I've bought things I didn't need but I figured all of that was a learning process for me. I agree that our spending patterns are a reflection of our personalities, since I don't club, I'd probably spend my money moderately on the things I fancy. Jobac: Lol I'm single. I'm an outdoor and natural person and I don't really fancy cramming myself in small spaces. I hope you're not trying to saying there are no better ways to have fun asides clubbing. Variety is the spice of life my friend. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Jobac: 9:05pm On Aug 24, 2019 |
Bamz:It depends sir, there may be other ways to have fun, maybe because I am also single and never going to marry and the kind of people I move with, I really don't know any. After running the street of Lagos from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm, the next thing is to cool off. The brain must be recharged and man need to shake body. It seems you are not based in Nigeria; I can understand. |

Tumbulum:seeing the money growing up gives me the maximum happiness. I even stopped my swimming hobby just to keep that 1k and add to mmf and Tbills. D*MN! My account used to show negative (900#) once upon a time... And I used to be angry! But today.. I empty my account into mmf and smile when I have no money to spend. LOL... No girlfriend, no smoking, no drinking, no visiting "friends", no unnecessary journeys, no big treats.. Finelinks:marriage is Not a must or compulsory. World population has passed 7 billion people...soon there won't be enough land for agriculture to feed us. Why add to that number? Especially when the other party can walk away any day And would just be controlling you like s/he owns you. Marriage.. Pause their.. Make I make some millions first 2 Likes |

globalresource: There are several money market instruments in most Western countries, including treasury bills, commercial paper, fixed deposits etc Typically, government and corporate entities use money markets as a means for borrowing and lending in the short term, usually for assets being held for up to a year. Conversely, capital markets are more frequently used for long-term assets, which are those with maturities of greater than one year. Capital markets include the equity (stock) market and debt (bond) market. Together, money markets and capital markets comprise a large portion of the financial market and are often used together to manage liquidity and risks for companies, governments, and individuals. Source: Investopedia oluayebenz So let's say I enjoy the thrills of bungee jumping, base jumping, and skate boarding, and you don't, your life will be boring compared to me as well. Adults make their choices. Your interesting life may be banal and pedestrian to me. Jobac Marriage isn't for everyone I agree but sometimes maybe you just need one girl to sweep you up your feet Justy100 You're referring to secondary market rates then. You can ask the banks directly. 4 Likes |

RealityShot: yiu are not living oga. you are just existing. Money should be a means to an end and not an end in itself. This is what the bible describes as the bottomless pit. Insatiable accumulation of wealth to the extent you deprive yourself some fun once in a while. What you gain at the sprint, you lose at the curve 3 Likes 1 Share |
