In the UK, u most likely would not need a car...the metro system and bus network are fairly cheap and can get you around easily.. many people have weekly and monthly bus and train tickets.. U can easily get around with local transport..
In America, you would most likely need a personal vehicle depending on your area of residence and your work place

Life has probably been very hard with her before boating the UK to participate in Bbnaija, even, if she didn't stay long with the UK police, she schooled and grew up there. So, I believe she graduated from the university before she was 25, what has she been doing with her life? How expensive is UK that affording a car almost 7years post graduation is unachievable?

Except, maybe, as suggested by a poster up there, because the transportation system in the UK is very robust that getting her own may not be necessary. I have not been there
