Spanishmilf:I actually didn't upload his 9 month pics tho he was eight months old in those pics and I guess he looked smaller because of the way the picture was taken lol it's just the camera position |

I've been using this toothpaste on Roscoe for some time now and it's pretty nice. his teeth are still very white and his breath isn't bad too, I use it on him twice a week. I decided to use it to prevent any dental issue and also he's fond of licking people whenever he's excited so I wanted to remove the dog breath at least lol. it cost about 3k and it came with a toothbrush although he chewed and scattered it the very first day I used it. I had to use a soft human toothbrush instead 1 Like

I've also started walking him for an hour every morning before going to work. I wake up and take him out by 5am, come back by 6am then get ready to start my day it's good exercise for two of us and he loves it, in fact, he waits at the gate now every morning once he hears the door open. I've also taught him how to walk off-leash during these walks. he doesn't do it perfectly but at least he knows to follow me when I'm walking away. most times the roads are empty at this time but sometimes we see other people going there way too, he always growls at them anytime they stare too much or start walking towards us. if the person walks directly towards us he barks and charges at them so I always put him on leash anytime I hear someone coming. on a usual walk during the day or evening he doesn't act like this tho, I guess it has something to do with the quiet and darkness that makes him more alert and suspicious of people. regularly, when I walk him he just ignores people and goes with me. And also, he's going to finally turn 1year old next week Sunday his attitude from when he was younger has already changed, it's like his aggression is now x3. he even scares me sometimes because he's very childish and playful to the family but once someone he doesn't know walks in, it only takes a split second for him to switch and start behaving like a wild animal, saliva even pours out of his mouth when he's snarling and barking. I don't have any issue with it tho, as far as he doesn't act like that towards the family, he's well balanced to me. And from next week I'm going to finally take him off diamond dry puppy food. I'm planning on putting him on a home cooked diet consisting off grinded millet, Guinea corn, soyabean, groundnut, dry fish and egg shells. I'm planning to mix it with rice and molding it into balls so he can eat it with the okro soup I'll be preparing for him with chicken. I'm still open to more recipes if you have any, except indomie(he doesn't digest it well). I'm just hoping the results with be good so I can fully move him to it permanently. 2 Likes |

agboedeh:lol it's not pleasant to them if they aren't used to it. the very first day, Roscoe chewed and destroyed the brush that came with it, I have to use human toothbrush now because it's stronger. the good thing is that you don't need to rinse, just brush and leave, the toothpaste is edible and minty, with time they'll get used to it and stop resisting. it's really nice, his dental hygiene now is good, no plaque, tartar or tooth rot. |

MrrKay:you can start when the dog's teeth come out well so won't injure the dog's gums. once their teeth are big enough you can start introducing it 2 Likes |
