lol. Even those whose application has been approved and submitted their passport for visa on the 29th of July is yet to get their passports back. Not to talk of fresh application submitted on same date. Canadian Embassy can be so slow...

Please I need help and insights from you all here.

I submitted an online TRV application for my Mum on June 11, got letter for Biometrics on June 12 and she did her biometrics at VFS Lagos office on June 13. Her application was never updated. Biometrics never changed to received. This morning I got an update to her account and logged in to see that her application was refused because she didnot comply with the request for Biometrics. Her visa office is London.

This is a bit weird because she did Biometrics and got an email on June 13 VFS titled "Application accepted". Was there suppose to be another email from VFS?

Please whats the best course of action at this point? Raise a Case specific enquiry post-final decision? Write an appeal letter?
I feel my mum's application was not fairly determined, the officer either didnot check thru properly or VFS didnot submit her biometrics, which was paid for, anyways.

Pls your kind and quick responses would be appreciated.

Could it be the money in my account or what I intend spending for my trips?.

Also, after the submission of document online but before biometric, it is still possible to edit and add one or two essential documents to your application ?

I am just confused, how can you possibly proof his employment situation, assets and ties to home and Canada? I need ideas here pls... How do I go about these reasons, he is still an infant and can't be left back for too long.. please....

They gave you the study permit knowing you have a 15month old son so I don't believe they expect him to stay behind. Except you told them so. .

Please list the documents you submitted. Please confirm if you showed extra money than what you initially used to apply for your study permit. Also confirm if hubby is going with you.

In my application i didn't include him to strengthen my hometie. My program is fully funded, and the account i used was not submitted during study permit application. Lastly, my hubby isn't going with me.
I am working on the document list..

If your hubby isn’t going with you and you’re taking a child along, how would you take care of him/her when you’re meant to be in school? can you afford it?

Did you answer these questions with concrete plans and verifiable evidences? I think you should work on these if you didn’t.

Just my opinion. I have never applied for a Canada visit visa.

Documents. - business cac registration -passport datapage photocopied with just ghana trip also photocopy - professional lincence ( doctor) - personal statement of acct 1.5m and compaby stayement of account i want to send in 5m thr on monday - landed document . Please will i submit my passport hen i go submit at vfs office? What are the things i should hold again pls. Please just help i dont want to leave any stone unturned. Was once denied study visa to US in june. Please i need someone to guide me so i wont make any mistake. Thanks

If I got you right at all, then genuinely, I would say “thank your stars your own visa wasn’t cancelled”! It is in your best interest to first go resume school before ever thinking of that step again please. THAT’S YOUR MAJOR TIE BACK HOME RIGHT THERE! Visa may have been approved with the child’s abode being a major consideration per why you must always go back home.

yes it is.In 2016 when i applied for a TRV with my family,our family friend and proposed host sent a letter of introduction to the embassy explaining our itinery and how long we plan to visit her.She didnt give us a copy of the letter.After our visas were approved,i saw a copy of that letter in the documents that were returned to me. So yes, a letter can be written by mail to the embassy on your behalf if you find it necessary.

They just asked what I was coming to do in Canada and how long I was staying. I said I was visiting my brother and his family for 2 weeks, and then she stamped my passport and said " welcome to Canada"

Letter of introduction from your company. Hope you have a detailed self letter of introduction? Your biz invoices. Since you are not married what are u planning to use as your tie here in Nigeria. Get a reference letter from your bank and from the hospitals that you consult for. Share the list of docs you have with you already. Apart from Ghana where else have you been to.
