@NothingDoMe Sorry about the refusal. I believe the solution is to apply alone. Both daughters can serve as your family tie. Your sister inlaw can also stay behind since her ties are not strong enough. Thanks a lot for your advice. |

obaoged:pls kindly confirm when you submitted your application. Has anyone who submitted from July 29th received their passport or update? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by FYsol: 10:10pm On Aug 23, 2019 |
lol. Even those whose application has been approved and submitted their passport for visa on the 29th of July is yet to get their passports back. Not to talk of fresh application submitted on same date. Canadian Embassy can be so slow... hoppa: |

Hello house, so I thought I should update you all about my mum's application. After raising several CSE and emails to both London and Lagos Offices, and even VFS Lagos office, we got a reply about 2 weeks after the initial refusal from Lagos VO office that her application has been reopened and same day, her profile was updated and showed that Biometrics completed. Today, her application was approved andher passport was requested. Thanks to @nothingdome and @oriazowan and every other person that reached out. Timeline: Submitted online - June 11 Biometrics - June 13 1st Refusal - July 29 File reopened - Aug 9 Biometrics passed - August 9 Application approved/passport request - August 23 Livy2018: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Hello guru, There is a column in one of the forms that say" Funds available for my stay(CAD)" Could it be the money in my account or what I intend spending for my trips?. Also, after the submission of document online but before biometric, it is still possible to edit and add one or two essential documents to your application ? |

Juleskiki:They gave you the study permit knowing you have a 15month old son so I don't believe they expect him to stay behind. Except you told them so. . Please list the documents you submitted. Please confirm if you showed extra money than what you initially used to apply for your study permit. Also confirm if hubby is going with you. |

Juleskiki: If your hubby isn’t going with you and you’re taking a child along, how would you take care of him/her when you’re meant to be in school? can you afford it? Did you answer these questions with concrete plans and verifiable evidences? I think you should work on these if you didn’t. Just my opinion. I have never applied for a Canada visit visa. |

Juleskiki: If I got you right at all, then genuinely, I would say “thank your stars your own visa wasn’t cancelled”! It is in your best interest to first go resume school before ever thinking of that step again please. THAT’S YOUR MAJOR TIE BACK HOME RIGHT THERE! Visa may have been approved with the child’s abode being a major consideration per why you must always go back home. 1 Like |

Hi everyone. This question is for those who got their tourist visas approved. Has anyone travelled on this visa to canada recently? What questions were you asked at the port of entry.I plan to travel with my family on vacation soon. And I would want to be prepared for possible questions from immigrations. Thanks |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by kech1981(f): 12:17am On Aug 25, 2019 |
Ceejay2:yes it is.In 2016 when i applied for a TRV with my family, our family friend and proposed host sent a letter of introduction to the embassy explaining our itinery and how long we plan to visit her.She didnt give us a copy of the letter. After our visas were approved,i saw a copy of that letter in the documents that were returned to me. So yes, a letter can be written by mail to the embassy on your behalf if you find it necessary. |

decong:. You have to make photocopies of all your documents and you will be submitting your passport at the Vfs office in Lekki. 3rd round about. You need 2 passport photographies of white back ground. Letter of introduction from your company. Hope you have a detailed self letter of introduction? Your biz invoices. Since you are not married what are u planning to use as your tie here in Nigeria. Get a reference letter from your bank and from the hospitals that you consult for. Share the list of docs you have with you already. Apart from Ghana where else have you been to. What is the purpose of ur visit to Canada . |
