[quote author=Whizpeter post=81569117]Hello guys, good evening. Some of you may know me on this thread, I joined the Xiaomi train some months back. I'm now with Xiaomi Nigeria as a brand ambassador and we're currently looking at uniting all Xiaomi users, enthusiasts and fans in Nigeria and creating a formidable MI community of MI fans. We have a lot going on already and now we think it's the right time to bring our Nairaland family into the fold. To achieve this, we've created a WhatsApp group where we can all converge, share ideas together and make plans together. If you've been looking for a way to get in touch directly with us at Xiaomi Nigeria with your feedbacks, reviews and suggestions, this may just be your opportunity. Here's the link to the WhatsApp group: https:// chat. whatsapp .com/Hb07mpo3iydFD22UK0cGrl Kindly remove the spaces. Alternatively, you can quote me and drop your WhatsApp number, I'd add you to the group. Together, let's bring innovation to everyone..... The Xiaomi way. Some people will soon enta a group that will choke their ass. Don't come here and tell us story that touches later and claiming someone was the one that recommended the group to you here. Anything Xiaomi , personally, am 100% satisfied with this thread. This is the only thread I follow on this site, despite I comment less here, but I followed it pumper to pumper even with my busy schedules. I got interested in Xiaomi through this thread, and bought my phone with suggestions here. Tweaking and all manners of assistance here, wetin I dey look for again. If you need additional assistance, internet is there and Xiaomi official FB page there. In summary, just be careful with which group you join and follow. Simple. 14 Likes |

priceaction: I didn't wish to dignify you with a response because if we're being honest with ourselves, you don't deserve one. But for the sake of those that will read this nonsense you wrote up there and be misled, I have to. What if I tell you the same people running the official Facebook and Twitter pages are the same people running this WhatsApp group? The group is currently run by the Content Specialist and Community Manager at Xiaomi Nigeria, do you think we'd create a WhatsApp group without purpose? I remember when Xiaomi just launched in Nigeria, y'all on this thread complained that they got influencers from Twitter who knew nothing about the brand to promote them while neglecting y'all. I got a chance, I was employed as an online brand ambassador for the firm, first thing I did was to introduce this thread to them and let them know of the good works y'all have been doing here. With the approval of Xiaomi Nigeria, we've decided to create a MI community just for our Nairaland fans and you're here judging us from afar. Do you know how many hangouts y'all have missed out on? How many giveaways? How many interactive sessions, lectures, games fiesta y'all have missed even though many of y'all here have been using Xiaomi devices for more than five years? We organised a MeetUp some time ago for our MI Community in Nigeria, guess those who attended? People who just started using Xiaomi devices less than six months ago. Don't y'all deserve to enjoy all these being our pioneer customers and fans in Nigeria? Before you judge or spill all the negativity in you just like Nairalanders are know for, can you at least join the group first and know what it is about, don't condemn what you know nothing about. I'm glad I have people like Genius43, Olayinkajnr, atheistandproud, Neomatrix1027 and a host of others there. You can ask them to tell you if the group looks legit or not. Now that Xiaomi Nigeria has decided to unite our Nairaland family, you either seize the opportunity or lose it. But nobody should come here after today to lament that Xiaomi doesn't care about y'all when you start seeing pictures from sponsored events and hangouts that you weren't invited to or informed about. For those in the group already, we're waiting to hit 100 members then we start, we'd share pictures from our last MeetUp we organised for the MI Community in Lagos. For those who want to join, here's the link: https:// chat. whatsapp .com/Hb07mpo3iydFD22UK0cGrl Remove the spaces. Thank you all, and do have a pleasant Sunday. 16 Likes |

Whizpeter:So it is a crime to tell people they should be careful of groups they join especially new peeps there? Anybody can claim to be working for Xiaomi or being infuencer to build anything and from experiences here on nairaland we know how many of these things ends. Well someone has said that they are not kids. So good luck to you and your group.By the way, tell me what's different from what you want to share there and what we are seeing here and other thread or on fb? Can you tell us in friendly manner? Am not saying you should not build your group, but nobody should come here later that he got introduced to, by us here. Wetin even concern me, only time will tell. Good luck to you. 10 Likes |

priceaction: Oga not to disrespect you but what he said was very wrong. He wasn'tpassing any advice but rather discrediting and trying to label the group stuff badd He never joined to even see if they thing was good or not. You just can't make such statements. Are we kids here that if we are being scammed we can't do what is necessary? This is why organizations don't like to invest in this country cos you people always think people have bad intentions 1 Like |

Whizpeter: I don't know where you got most of your info from. But they are baseless, sorry to say. You have shared the link (which is even against nairaland rules), nevertheless, it's all good. Some persons have shared links before, not one, not two, not three, and more will still share links after you. Such is life. One last thing, I really don't understand the rationale behind 'generalizing'. 'Y'all missed out on giveaways' , 'y'all kicked against Xiaomi Nigeria' You make it sound as if everyone here has a hidden agenda which is not so. Just buy phone and enjoy 8 Likes 2 Shares |
