France President, Emmanuel Macron has blasted President Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil and said Brazil deserves a President who is ‘up to the job’ as he pledged 20million euros to fight the fires in the Amazon.

Bolsonaro endorsed a sexist Facebook post about France’s first lady Brigitte Macron yesterday, the latest chapter in an escalating war of words between him and his French counterpart over the Amazon crisis.

Emmanuel Macron had called for emergency talks by G7 nations on the fires destroying chunks of the Amazon rainforest, piling pressure on Bolsonaro, who in turn accused him of having a ‘colonialist mentality’.

That Bolsonaro should cut the crap and fix the Amazon bush burning. If he can't he should dump his pride and let countries that are willing do the job. The Amazon forest produces earth's 20% oxygen so we are all concerned.

According to Jair Bolsonaro, Receiving aids isn't the problem, but those who give aids do use it as a means of interfering with the sovereignty of Brazil, reason for this whole madness. Somehow reminds me of Thomas Sankara's quote, "He who feeds you, controls you".
