My advise: for now evaluate your MSC ( what you wrote above doesn't mean you can't evaluate only your MSC. Many have done so . Read through the thread) for the sake of EE profile. Then, start with your Beng evaluation later. You have enough time before PPR to evaluate bachelor's degree

Thanks for the advice.

I have created an account on WES and have listed my uk masters, my fut minna BEng and WAEC.

If I certify only masters can I check my points before sending the other credentials later?

You don't need to, I repeat, you don't need to evaluate your bsc. I have mac and did not evaluate it.

Thanks for the response. I am a novice here hence the questions.

But I will need it to practice engineering so I might need to do it?

Is it complicated to get the waec results sent to WES from outside Nigeria?

Please I want to know if an accompanying spouse needs to evaluate his certificate from Nig in order to add to his CV when job-hunting in Canada.
I'm asking cos my sister and her husband both registered for WES evaluation and she is the PA. They later saw that they may not need his report to boost scores. Now, her report is almost ready while the hubby has issues between WES and his school. So they want to move on without his report and enter the pool when hers is ready. Do you think he will still need his report for job hunting when all is done and they arrive Canada? Or he should switch the evaluation to "course by course" evaluation which he would definitely need for his professional certification after landing?

Where is your VO?

I also got RR on my application and I suspect it is my POF as well (I used Stanbic Mutual Fund). Initially I thought it was cos I have a dollar fund but reading through this I am really really worried. My POF is currently over the minimum by at least 5000CAD.

I am a PNP candidate so this is all confusing. A friend who used ARM also got RR. I am waiting for my GCMS notes but I have raised a CSE which explained that my account has been active since 2012 with inflows and outflows. In 2018 I moved out most of the funds and decided to open a dollar fund. So the question about withdrawals and accessibility is quite confusing. The POF section of IRCC's website clearly says you can use short term financial instruments as POF. I will call IRCC this week and wait for my GCMS note. Will update the house of my findings.

Yes...the evaluation is document-by-document...so course of study is not an issue.

Thanks

Guys, with a POF, there's only two things the Visa Officer wants to confirm - source of funds and availability of funds for settlement.

In recent times, it appears Ottawa and Montreal employed new and inexperienced VOs to help address the huge backlogs. These VOs seem to be flagging POF submitted in the form of Investments. So, if you get an RR or ADR for your POF, my advice is that you do the following;

1. Liquidate Tbills/Mutual Funds immediately.
2. Get a recent 6 months bank statement showing the liquidated investment and letter of reference too.
3. Write an LOE explaining that you liquidated because of concerns raised (RR or ADR) - to prove that the funds are readily available for your settlement.

Wish you all a speedy journey to PPR. Cheers, guys!

You only get points for your highest degree- MSC. You can remove your beng and waec so your ECA can start asap.

I submitted my application in June using a letter from my Mutual fund opened in January 2019 only. With the recent fuss around Mutual fund as POF, please should I raise a CSE and send a gift deed to show source of funds and I hope it won't have any negative implication?

Good day to all the gurus on this thread working to help put us through and answer our questions. I just started this process and a friend of mine also wants to commence hers too. Now shes in a dilemma and I want to seek your opinion on her case.
She just started a thriving business here in Nigeria and it's really thriving for her. Her husband also just started a company with great prospects. However, she wants to apply for skilled worker program because she doesn't know what the future holds and she also doesn't want to wait incase this program is cancelled in the nearest future in order to avoid regrets. So the question is cam she apply for these skilled workers program and not live permanently in Canada. Can she be going in and out. We googled it and it days one has to have spent a total of 1000 days to be eligible for citizenship in a period of 5 years. But we dont know if its continuous period of 1000 days. Can someone with a pr status live in an out of Canada and still be eligible for citizenship. Thanks

Congratulations. Can you please guide me on how to call IRCC? I'm March 9 AOR and your story just inspired me. Thanks

patakioy:
Guys, I got the Golden mail on Saturday morning

The Lord has been merciful unto me
ITA: Feb 20
AOR: March 7
Bil: April 25
PPR: 24 August
NOC 0601
VO- Ottawa
Single
No ADR
Zero travel History

My journey started early November 2018. First IELTS was 5th of January 2019 (L8.5 R7 S7.5 W 6) Second IELTS on 17th of January 2019 (L 9, R 9, S 7.5, W7) I couldn’t dive into the pool as my ECA with WES didn’t come out until 19th February 2019. So, I enter pool on 19th and got ITA on 20th February 2019.

Medicals & PCC
I did my Medicals at IOM Ikeja. It was a hectic one because of the crowd. I got there 7 am and I was number 76. I guess the crowd was due to students doing their medicals too that period. I didn’t leave IOM until 4PM. PCC was very easy, I used Inspt Funke. I paid 4k.

POF
My POF was in my salary account( I was scared of using Mutual fund or TB). 3.3 Million was a gift deed from my elder sister with a notarized gift deed. Funny that I was worried that she now has a different surname as she is married.

Reference Letter
I got a reference letter from my HR in CIC format. I didn’t submit payslip or any other document.

POST AOR.
2 weeks after submitting my application, I read that I am suppose to include a copy of my MSC certificate. I only submitted WES and IELTS, I quickly raised CSE to submit my MSC. As if that wasn’t enough, I discovered a silly error I made while opening my Express entry account. I MISSPELT ONE OF MY NAME ( unbelievable right?). I wanted to withdraw my application and start afresh. Anyway I raised another CSE for correction of name. I was shock they obliged and corrected the name on my dash board.

Biometrics
Biometrics was on 25th of April at VFS Lekki

The Wait.
The wait was something else. I have never been that anxious all my life. I order GCMS note and received it on the 17th of July only Criminality and Medicals passed, Eligibility and Security not yet started. I call IRCC 5-6 times, the Last call was 14 August and status was eligibility and security still not started. I gave up after the last call that PPR is not coming anytime soon, only to receive the golden mail mid night 24-08-19.

Hello house,

I have put my current data into CRS calculator and my score was 432 points, but when I added my wife who has a bachelor degree my total score decreased to 428. Note I elected that my wife will be writing IELTS(L6.5, S6.0, W6.0, R6.0) and her BSc will be evaluated.

Please why is my score decreasing instead of increasing?

Quick question, is it compulsory I upload my account statement in my application? My statement of account for six months is close to 30 pages. I have payslips for my job, reference letter of non indebtedness from my bank and also POF in stanbic mutual funds
Is the SOA important?

The journey was not born out of desire but circumstances changed and I got feed up with FRN, so I sought help with my brother who was in Qatar as at 2015 to join him as an expat , all plan was working well until QA decided not to grant Nigerians Visa, so I quit discussions related to traveling and focus more on my job here. Fast forward to 2017, My brother came again with the idea of Canada and I wasn't too kin, he paid for my first and second IELTS just to encourage me and the second time he initiated a PNP route towards the tail end of 2018, made my wife PA... Need I say that this brother of mine is an In-law turns friend and blood...

I have read a number of times that WES delivers a soft copy of ECA. Saving that money will go a mile. Others can equally advise.
