Good morning to all, I have an issue, I submitted my daughter's passport at the TLS contact Ikeja with an authorisation from UK vi for an amendment in an error on a previously issued visa,I submitted it on the 31st of July , up till now I have heard nothing.I have sent emails to TLS and UKVI no response from them.
Question is ,does anyone know the time frame for correction of of a vignette (visa).
What other step can I take.
PS I can't make a call because they do not accept the Nigerian debit cards.

Did they give you right of appeal ? Under human right/right to family under article 8 of immigration rules, You should be given right of appeal or administrative review, this is a family visit and not tourist visa that doesn’t have right of appeal.

These people tried to cancel appeal for all visits so that they can be refusing anyhow. Reason they limit family to just husband wife children parents and grandparents. Sister brother uncle cousin not under family anymore.

They said NO right of appeal or administrative review, do you advice I chill out a bit and reapply later? I was to attend my younger brother graduation which is far gone in July anyway.
I have my mum and all siblings who are British by birth in UK, im the only one born in naija. I don't know if there are other type of visa category suitable for me besides Family visit.
Thank you everyone for the love.

See attached doc and read it, once they know you have many members of your family in UK, they would believe you wanna go join them and it would be easy for you to fight for family right to stay in UK. With this they will just pick irrelevant points to refuse someone.

How come you are not giving right of appeal for family visit ? That’s strange.

I just don't know why i wasn't given right of appeal, I'm a building contractor and i submitted my well runned statement of account of almost 200pages....i guess it might be due to the point you made of me having so much family in the UK, probably thinking i won't return back to naija

Yeah true there won’t be right of appeal coz you are above 18, only spouse, parent and minor under 18 can get appeal under family visit. Your siblings won’t count and your parents will only count if you are under 18.

See attached doc

If your mum is British citizen by birth, you should be a British citizen too. Are you sure your mum is a British citizen by birth? If she is she should apply for a British passport for you.

You need to read more about right to a British citizenship, google how to be a British citizen. All the rules conditions will come up and see if you meet the requirements.

Please follow this up, don’t waste your golden opportunity. Have attached and See the link

Reason for previous refusal is likely to play a part in next visa application

My mum wants to re-apply for a visitor visa to visit me in the UK and I need a bit of advice on how to go about it. My mum is 65 years old and she has previously applied for a 6 months visitor visa to the UK and she did not over stay. She travelled last in 2012. She is a pensioner and her pension is about 50K. The previous visa's were also approved after she retired, but she used to do a lot of business back then and her accounts were well maintained. At the moment, she does just very petty business so she does not stay idle. Its more like affiliate marketing, I am not sure I would want her to mention that in her account. Right now, she has no dependent and my dad arguments her. The issue I am trying to avoid is "funds packing". She loaned me some money in the past and I returned the money last 2 months. I have told him to write a letter on his company letter headed paper stating that he is funding the trip and to show good faith he has transferred the money to her account. What else should I do? She has about about 500K in her account over the 12 months which came in from her affiliate marketing business. The total money i sent to her is about 800k. Please, how should I handle the situation?

Two times not 3 times.

It should not be more than two times your monthly disposable income.

Good day to all the gurus in the house, thanks for all your hardwork. please i need assistance as i am applying for my mum to visit myself and my family in the UK for about 1 month as i just had a baby.
1. My mum works with a federal ministry and earns 86k monthly, we are paying for everything about her application, but was asked how much she is going to spend while in the UK, i put 200 pounds dont know if that is too small.
2. do you have anyone financially dependent on you i put in the name of my 12 year old brother just to help serve as ties back home, i dont know if is ok too as my dad is alive and takes care of all my brothers financial needs. Also my dad is 72 years old is this strong enough ties?
3. Do you have another income or any savings? i wrote Other regular income as she owns a frozen meat shop with transactions of about 300k in and out of her account monthly, the company is not registered with CAC, will this be a problem ? as my husband here in the UK is sponsoring the trip fully.
4. What kind of regular income do you have? Answer is Investments, Another income Total amount of money that you get in a year 1200000.00NGN. is 1.2 million too much and will this affect the application?
5. What is the total amount of money you spend each month? Answer is 45000.00 NGN. This is just a confusing question and a rough estimate because she never really uses her salary and mostly spend money from her business and my dad. But is my response ok?
6. Am paying for the priority service which is 400USD, after doing this do i still need to pay to get an appointment date?

Thanks alot, i anticipate a response.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 2:12am On Aug 28, 2019
If what has usually been coming into account say every month is 100k and then she suddenly has 800k appearing in her account balance this is a red flag. You havent mentioned her making much money recently.. You might take your chances and apply of course explaining in a cover letter but definitely that money will be picked up...
Were u sending her such amount regularly? I guess not.
As for your father’s support money he should draft a letter stating his excitement to sponsor her on this trip and that he has made the money available into her account bla bla bla alongside his statement of account
On the bright side, she has a history with the UK also this would count as a plus BUT that money(lump sum from you) in my opinion would cause more harm than good.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 2:27am On Aug 28, 2019
Well this is my take... good luck
1. Is the question while in the UK or ‘on this trip’?
I think it is the latter and 200 pounds is small
2. If your brother is said to be financially dependent on her, her financial status has to show sufficiency for him.
3. those transactions are her side business since the enterprise is not registered. she should take out time to explain in a cover letter everything about this business providing invoices and receipts to customers to back up these monies coming into her account. Everything to substantiate the additional money coming in is very needed .
4 and 5 is very subjective and she would be in the best possible position to answer this. Pls take your time
6. If you do not select any additional service as listed on the TLS website, you would not be required to pay any additional money when she goes for her biometrics.
