Good day folks, I have two separate t-bills that will mature on same day this week with same bank. I have misplaced my certificate for the transaction. How would they pay me back my money now that I no longer hold the certificate for transactions? Would I face any complications in getting back my money from my bank? |

opydan: The stop rate refers to the maximum interest rate preferred/issued by the CBN out of all the bids submitted within a bid window. It then means that all the bid rates that fall from and below the accepted marginal rates (stop rate) will win and those above rejected. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by TotoNaRubber: 8:51pm On Aug 26, 2019 |
Better keep this information away from your account officer especially if your account officer works with that bank that starts with E and ends with k. Once they know you have misplaced your certificate they will intentionally misplace your money upon maturity. Donbrig: |

opydan:Yes, most commercial banks do 30, 60 and 90 days. Some, e.g. Stanbic IBTC, also do 120, 150, 180, 360/365 etc. You can see some rates by following the links on https://comparedbest.com/ng/nigerian-commercial-banks.html The best rates are also summarised on https://comparedbest.com/ng/best-nigerian-fixed-deposit-rates.html |

CompareDBest: Thank you sir. For clarity sake, for instance if l deposit 100k with First bank for 30days, with their rate of 6% does that mean the interest will be 6k on is there a calculation around it. Thanks |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by temi4fash(m): 7:56am On Aug 27, 2019 |
opydan: No sir, Your total pay out would 100K + ((100k * 6 * 30)/(100*365)) = 100,493 3 Likes |

Hi everyone, I just downloaded an app call I-invest. I want to be sure if this app is real to invest in TB. Which bank own it. How reliable it is. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by tolajay: 2:35pm On Aug 27, 2019 |
Absolutely none! It’s an automated process. Your account gets credited on the said date. The certificate is simply what it is, proof of investment and possible collateral, not a tender for withdrawal. Donbrig: 4 Likes |

Trading happens every two weeks (Wednesday), if I’m correct. But you need to express your interest afore time with your preferred bank. dake40: 2 Likes |
