I think SARS is becoming the latest terrorist group in Nigeria.

This checking of phone by SARS is an infringement of the privacy of an individual.

I was in Benin and had to go to Auchi. I boarded a bus with almost all the other passengers students of either Ekpoma or Auchi poly. After dropping some students at Ekpoma were got to a SARS checkpoint immediately they ordered the two young fresh looking guys who were in the front seat to get down from the bus and submit thier phones. They then came to the back seat and ordered another young guy to join them. I was expecting them to say something to me but they just avoided me knowing I wasn't obviously a student. 5mins later the boys returned and I learnt one had to pay N7000 on the spot because they saw a foreign number on his phone, I was shocked. He claimed it was his aunty. The other students confirmed it's a daily routine.
I was thinking how he was going to survive now that the small allowance his parents must have given him has been collected by SARS.
