Hmm! It really depends on the VO. But to forestall any rejection, attach these in addition to the MF letter:

1. Mutual Funds statement
2. the gift deed
3. bank statement highlighting the inflow of the gift deed and outflow to MF
4. transfer receipt of your gift deed

These should adequately prove the source of your funds

ifevictor:
I submitted my application in June using a letter from my Mutual fund opened in January 2019 only. With the recent fuss around Mutual fund as POF, please should I raise a CSE and send a gift deed to show source of funds and I hope it won't have any negative implication?

If you can get your statement of results earlier, evaluate it instead of the certificate. If Waec is going to give your issues, use CES or ICES or other ECA bodies that don't require waec.

Femiswagg:
Hello house, Thanks for swift response.
Am working on getting a second degree and the certificate will be ready by Feb next year.
If I want to upgrade wes with my second degree, i was been told that i will need to add my Waec.
How long does it take for wes to verify from Waec?
With second degree my score will be 463
My ielts will expire by September next year.
Will I still be able to meet up before the ielts expire in September
Because i dont know what duration it takes to verify the waec result and the second degree?
Please I need assistance here so that my ielts does not waste .
Thanks

Nice. It's good to be clear, before one is added to a group run by Indians. They're so infamous for their impatience. grin

You need to relax. Don't panic. You have not gotten GCMS notes yet, so you cannot be sure the RR is the POF. RR could be on other aspects of eligibility, assuming you even have RR. Besides, people have gotten PPR despite RR on their files, it's just to let the VO investigate deeper, RR is not a rejection sentence. Wait for the GCMS notes and if there's any thing to worry about, update us on it.

Also that your friend got an RR on his/her ARM doesn't mean you will get it. Each case is different. Please calm down, BP is real o.

psalmizt:

I also got RR on my application and I suspect it is my POF as well (I used Stanbic Mutual Fund). Initially I thought it was cos I have a dollar fund but reading through this I am really really worried. My POF is currently over the minimum by at least 5000CAD.

I am a PNP candidate so this is all confusing. A friend who used ARM also got RR. I am waiting for my GCMS notes but I have raised a CSE which explained that my account has been active since 2012 with inflows and outflows. In 2018 I moved out most of the funds and decided to open a dollar fund. So the question about withdrawals and accessibility is quite confusing. The POF section of IRCC's website clearly says you can use short term financial instruments as POF. I will call IRCC this week and wait for my GCMS note. Will update the house of my findings.

Well, there is something called first hand experience, which is what I am looking for. You might live in a little hole as you are the only one that has responded impolitely among the many people that have responded to me positively on this forum.

I started on Monday and I will probably have more information on this by September.

I leave you in peace if that is how you are.

I have learnt a lot from others on here.

Cheers.

@ dumije01 Please raise a CSE and do this. Reattach an updated reference letter with the latest contact details of your employer. Also can you request another GCMS? Email Ralph? Call CIC if your VO is in Canada or send your VO a direct email, anything to trigger a response. It just might help.

Praying for your PPR soonest.

Deepsea14:

did the letter have a phone number or a functional email? and are you sure the phone number is still active?
it seem they havent been able to contact anyone to verify your employment claim.
and the whole verification is taking too long,
if you have any other documents that can convince the officer of your employment, you should upload them, if you havent already.
like payment account statements, posting letter,
etc.
others plz help!!!!

Most times, it can be resolved quickly if the applicant raises a CSE or calls to address it. Some VO heads can turnoninown and instead for requesting ADR or sending procedural fairness, they just reject straight. So knowing RR issues can be helpful in some cases.

Thanks for the clarification our English Marshall. If it is true this new VOs are doing the most. We have to start fasting and prayer sessions o. Thank you for always coming through.

Is CES different from ICES?

If yes, is CES better/faster than WES? Will CES see my ND and HND certificates as two or more Canadian certs?

It really depends on the VO. Some here have gotten PPR with just the certificate. Others have had to provide the certificate, bank statement showing the outflow and the source of the funds (in most cases, gift deed). To be safe, provide the evidence of the source of the funds as well.

Sorry do you mean if I provide Treasury bill certificate + deed of gift, bank reference letter is no longer needed?
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 8 by Alosezele: 9:27pm On Aug 27, 2019
Even if I provide a six month statement for the account I used for the investment, the payment of the lump money I invested will not be captured cos the money was transferred over six month back. Moreso, I dint even do the investment with my salary account, which am supposed to present statement as proof that I am a salary earner.
