talk2oxii:Don't go into mobile phones business in Port Harcourt. Been there, done it and will never try such again. Firstly, port Harcourt shop rent is very expensive, where you wan see shop 70k 80k per year way go make sense? Even if you goto MTN close to oil mill or Garrison the least you'll see is 500k a year! Except you want to use show case and display your phones but last last you can't hustle like those boys cause na small thing them use excape criminal. The only way you can sell those phones is if you know how to lie, like you buy itel 10k and lie to your customers about how the battery lasts for two days and how the parts are easily available if the screen breaks, then you can hype the price to 18k. But get ready for them to return it cause those phones easily develop faults, be ready to fight as well and shout untop your voice! When I did that business, Hmmm it wasn't worth it at all. It's better you keep that money and go learn how to repair phones. That was how I was able to survive before I finally left the business. 5 Likes 1 Share |

rummmy:What is even wrong with you people, those guys are practically running a ponzi scheme! I'm a trader, you can't make 45k from 300k portfolio every single month trading what ever. Alot of forex trading ponzi schemes are popping up every time, this is not the first and won't be the last. When they run out of money to pay you they'll disappear! You better get your money out fast! Those boys in UYO that scammed 2 billion naira last year did exactly the same thing and Disappeared abroad. https://www.bellanaija.com/2018/10/efcc-investigating-brothers-over-n2bn-forex-scam/ 2 Likes |

I lost my bank job of over 4 years early this year. My efforts towards securing another job since then has been futile. I've invested in all sorts of online business but none yielded reasonably. I have resolved to set up a business with my only savings of N500k here in Port Harcourt. Great Nairalanders especially those resident in Port Harcourt, I've come for your advice. What business (NOT ONLINE) can I start with my 500k savings here in Port Harcourt?. God bless as you advise[/quote] Try lubricants and servicing spare parts , that’s if you have an idea of cars and it’s spare parts or plumbing and building materials . |

If it has to do with Ph, just open a food joint where you cook and come out every evening from 5pm close to any drinking joint popular around your area and thank me later. Just remove formings forget you worked in the bank look at where you are headed. You can be the next Genesis in town. Meanwhile if you can't cook employ a cook or make your babe or wife assist you. Don't forget to make the meat big. If possible start with hot jellof rice with fresh tomatoes displayed on it with all them shaki trust me we ph guys love it. I BE CONFIRMED PH BOY. FROM BOROKIRI TO RUMUOMASI WE CONQUER. With ONLY 100K YOU CAN START CONFORTABLY. GET A CAPENTER TO MAKE 2 BENCHES TWO TABLE COST IS JUST 10K. BIG POTS 20K, YOU HAVE GAS COOKER ALREADY AS BANKER THEN BUY SPOONS AND PLATES WITH 10K, HAND WASH TOOTH PICK AND SAVIETTES WITH 5K , BUY TAMPULIN 5K, USE 20K BUY RICE MEAT AND CONDIMENTS AND WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT GROW. 3 Likes |

I believe as someone who have worked in the bank before, you shud have a generator by now. Just look for a small space and start a football viewing centre biz. then later start selling groundnut and orange and biscuits. your babe can handle those. with time, add sale of soft drinks and maybe alcoholic drinks in cans as you won't want boys fighting over Chelsea and Man Utd with bottles.....na Ph you dey you suppose know........ Hope this piece reach you 1 Like |
