I have search and search can't found options for the above
This what I came accross when I went to Files Go( which the alternative to my phone settings) the first image
Second image is what display when I click on settings. Do I need to move all my files on my phone storage before the SD can work? Am sorry for bothering you but please help me out. The guy I bought the Memory card from seem not to have solution , so am on my own now

try to format the memory card first, then try to move some files to it using the files Go app.
When you locate the files or folder,hold the app(not tap) to bring out options, select copy or move, locate the memory card and paste it there. You'll do this using the files go app.
If it doesn't work, let us know

Go to camera - settings you'll see the option to use the memory card
Go to your browser- settings you'll see the option to change your downloads storage to sd card
Go to xender- settings to change default storage to sd card
Check other apps that uses your phone storage and change the settings

Have followed instructions still having same issue. There is no room to even change from internal storage . Second pic was when I went to camera settings.

This is where we are now. But! Once I click on the SD it start moving my application straight. Is that the final solution?

Will let you know once I have solve the problem. Because as it is now, I can only move files to SD but any pic or scree shot that I take goes directly to internal storage instead of SD( back ground check by me).

It shows on setting that there is a memory card , but I do not have options to switch from internal storage to memory card. Pls what the way forward?
Note; I have never used any memory card on this very phone in the past. I had to test run two different sizes of memory card ( 4G, and 8G) yet still having same issue.

1. Not all apps and their data can be moved to an SD card.
2. That memory card you are using is too slow to be used as a shared internal storage device. Try getting at least a class 10 micro SD card, most memory cards are usually of the slower class 4 variety. There are reputable sellers like just2endowed2, jboixxx, and optimized who can help you in procuring a class 10 micro SD card.

Also consider downloading another file manager app like Files (from Google), or Explorer. With these apps you can hunt for large files and folders, which you can then move to the memory card.

It is not advisable to use your MC as adaptive storage.
1) You lost your files should there be any ish
2) Unannounced device restart/crash
3) you won't be able to remove the card cuz your system files would have been written on it, any removal will lead to system crash.

At the instant of installing the memory card, you should be prompted either to use the memory card as default storage or otherwise, you can select it as default storage, however, some devices don't work like that despite selecting the MC as default write location. That's by default not that the device is faulty.

Only available option is to move your user files manually to your MC.

Lastly, when buying memory card(s), demand for C10 memory cards!
