Feeling shamelessly excited because your President shook or hugged another human being who happened to be elected the president of another country is just going too low. By the way, the REALITY of G-7 meeting is that the invitations extended to select African leaders are mere TOKENISM done to fulfil global political correctness. Otherwise, why is that these OUTSIDERS are only allowed to attend brief inconsequential interactions and then HERDED OUT for a PR world media photoshoots? The truth is no 'free lunch' will come from these superpowers without gaining much more in return.

Rawanda is doing quite well for its size but it's by no means amongst the most important economies in Africa to warrant such back to back invitation.

More importantly, for those claiming Trump won't invite the lifeless one bla bla bla. Trump wasn't the host of this year's G7-1 (Russia) meeting. The host was Macron the French President.
