They are only using reverse psychology to get fans discouraged, once you feel the person you are supporting may not make it then you tend to move your support to other housemates especially their fave whom you feel has a lot of fans.

I can imagine the way Mike's fans are the one so sure that Ike will not get to the final when they are not even guaranteed of the semi-finals.

In this this game, no one knows anything that could happen in the next hours, rules change, biggie can decide to evict by coins, or just anything.
