My case is slightly similar to yours. My middle name is misspelt (spelt with a letter missing). As I was told, you will have to visit the Postgraduate college probably before or after writing the English Proficiency Yest.

Hello!..pls to submit the form is now an issue again o!..When we click submit, it will say it has been submitted successfully and after a few hours when we check, it will say "Your data modification is still active"!, i don't get!,. Has it submitted or has it not?, coz I'm even fed up..is it d network causing that or d submission can't go anymore?!..Please we need answers, thank you..

I have been trying to pay but it's not going through. I tried the credit/debit and the direct debit but i'm still having issues. It's saying payment failed immediately after the OTP..... Is there any other way of paying?

we haven't o!.. i had to follow my sis to d pgschool today 2 tell dem all d troubles and they told us about d "Referee link", dat we should hold on for now, and we should stop resending d emails 2 the referees for now, that the ICT is working on it..

About the maiden name, you've to go to pg college at UI. There an invoice is going to be generated for you. Then you take the invouce and a thousand naira (1000) to ui microfinance back or you pay online. Then you take the receipt back to the pg school. There they'd sort it for you.
Someone can actually help out with it if you aren't around.

This is d outcome of my courtesy enquiries abt ur issues:
1. Maiden problem will be redressed itself soon....it is an encryption error
2. Discrepancy is mostly caused by many applicants but once ur form is submitted, it will be corrected or if u have not submitted ur form, don't be panic, it will soon disappear
3. Field of study should be relevant to first degree related course, otherwise one may find it difficult to submit
4. Referees attestations: once u have sent them notification, u should wait till they respond, do not resend several times...network may cause delay at times. Also, some email addresses might have been entered wrongly... u re to cross check to ascertain it right
5. Once u have paid bf d closure on August 28, u can't be affected wt N5k penalty on late application or registration online
6. Size of ur documents during uploading may deter its success...so check them and upload them again till they are succeeded... to include ur passport photograph & signature
7. You're not required to fill in d test of proficiency in English column....just skip it and move to next step
8. Ensure ur referees are aware of ur application bf u use them and tell them immediately after submission so that they can give their valid approval of ur candidacy... Don't use nonacademic staff pls
