grin Lol @Bolded 1. A record indeed! Thank you so much for your understanding, for your diplomacy and for not choosing to mock whatever I might have suggested.
I can really relate with @Bolded 2. I joined this hunt and as I read through old threads, I stumbled on two old classmates' pet names (close friends too back in school but for work/hustle and marriage's sakes, we seldomly communicate). Those names were well known by me so I called them to confirm and voila, they were the ones! I simply had to drop my old moniker at the entrance to this thread as it is also well known by anyone who is close enough to me.
@Bolded 3: Thank u once more for d clarification.
I indeed mentioned in bold in my post I might have misinterpreted d 100% POF claim. I must have been carried away thinking that 25% of pension could never be sufficient as full POF in this country where d standard of living is extremely low while forgetting the likes of Senators and others earning in millions on monthly basis are also in this race!..
Speedy PPR to you bro. All the best!
majamisile:

Bro first off, you have set record as the first person to tell us long post alert without PPR to follow grin...
You really have spoken well as regards that which we have been battling on the thread for a while now and that is the need for research and due diligence on this important life journey just to avoid repetition of already answered questions But as regards the fake PPR stories, I really don't fully agree with you o.. As regards moniker change, na fear of VPA (village people's association) dey cause some people to do that o my brother. Then no wan cast ni. For the pension matter that you mentioned I guess what the man meant was that he used 25% of his pension as 100% POF. Na OG the man go be grin. I remember some time back where someone with the same family size complained about delay in getting his family's PPR, I'm guessing he is the one.
Your every concerns are quite understandable because of our dear country but.. Selflessness and good will lives here I must tell you but that won't stop us from being cautious or letting down our guard. God bless us all bro cheesy!

Tweet at them via @WESCanada, then since you are sure it got there, give it till friday evening to see yet another update. I had similar experience.
In the end, I got another update stating that my document (from NECO actually) was received but being rejected. After so much back and forth, I eventually found out from my NECO contact the fault was from NECO's end. The stamp was not properly fixed! I was promised that another copy will be resent to WES free of charge for me and others affected. Those WES people will never compromise their standards! I pray your Uniben transcript was well packaged.
It will end in praise no matter what.
Arosam:
Someone should explain what is going on here, my transcript that got to WES 2 days ago from Uniben was updated as "not received". Neco gut there early this month.

I am not a graduate of OAU however from my experience it is usually sent to the dean of faculty of medicine. You can check with the office or check if there is a number on the university's website.

Thank you.

Please is there anyone that has used their salary account as POF account. Money has been transferred into it and will a statement of account and deed of gift will be used as documents shown. Obviously, there’s also payslip your show in the flow of salary.

I’m sticking to using one account at the moment because of the confusion with mutual funds and the likes.

Has anyone done this? I also think the less number of accounts, statement and reference letters I put forward will not confuse my assessor.

an account is an account whether salary or not. They are majorly concerned about lump sum which should be taken care of my gift deed.

Good evening everyone I’m new on here I decided to register today I’ve been reading the thread for a while now.
From my understanding and after using the crs tool I can see that if I’m the PA myself and my husband stand a higher chance because I’m way younger than he is but my work experience isn’t up to a year yet , with my very short work experience can we still use me as the principal applicant? (Please I’m confused I need an answer to this I’ll really appreciate)

We’ve been practicing for IELTS general , I’ve set up an account with IQAS (I have a law degree) from what I learned here it favours law degree holders more and WES for my husband (he has a B.sc). I’m hopeful everything will fall into place.
Thank you in advance
what about your NYSC

Hi, Please I need the information (or link to where the info is) regarding getting a Canada phone number before you get in to Canada. I tried to search for it but I haven't been able to locate it. Thanks.

Hello house. Am about gettig into the pool. Please I need some clarifications . I want to ask if I will have to submit references from all places of employment stated on my Express entry profile both past and present. I have been working with my current employer for 6 years and I can get references easily there. However prior to this I worked in two banks for 2 and 4 years respectively. I have employment letters and promotion letters but getting reference might be cumbersome and I dont know if its required. want to know if it adds anything to my profile or I should delete it.
Secondly will the accompanying spouse submit reference letters

Pls a quick one. I had evaluated my degree in 2018, then nothing like WAEC required. Now I am evaluating my MSC. And they notified me of WAEC.

Will I create a WAEC profile too in WES or just d MSc.
When WAEC sends d transcript will it be there or I still need to create a secondary school profile.

I'm confused. Cos its just Msc profile I created under upgrade Evaluation

3 years gives maximum points. So your current employer is enough. So delete the rest. It belongs to personal history post ITA . Your spouse only needs if its canadian experience . If not. It belongs to personal history post ita too

Just add the other work experiences in your personal history post ita and you dont need references for them
Secondly will the accompanying spouse submit reference letters?? Since your spouse work experience wont give you any points, there is no need adding their work experience. Just include them in their personal history post ita so no need for reference letter

Hello all, Thank you all for all the good work you are doing here. First of all, I'm not new on nairaland but I am new on this thread. I decided to migrate to Canada just few months ago. Let me share my current standing so i can get the best advice from you guys>

Age: 23
Education: Bsc. (PGD fron NOUN in view. Finishing November)
Work Experience: 3 years
POF: I no get
IELTS: Started practicing yesterday. Planning to write in October
Marital Status: Single. Fiance is a Nurse. don't know whether to include her from the beginning or complete my process then apply to bring my spouse over
WES: This is where my greatest confusion sets in. I have been going tru the thread and I just keep getting different information. I read that you are only supposed to verify your highest qualification which in my case would be PGD by November/December. I have a degree from ABU Zaria but i heard the process takes a very long time, so if I'm to verify my degree also, can I start now and when my PGD is ready I will send to them too? and i keep seeing somethings about WAEC also. its just so confusing. Please if there are anyone whos just about to being their WES process, kindly PM so we can go tru the process together.

DEAR LEARNED FRIENDS, I KNOW ITS NOT EVERYONE THAT WILL HAVE TIME TO READ MY QUESTION OR EVEN GIVE A REPLY BUT IT WOULD REALLY MEAN ALOT IF SOMEONE CAN JUST GIVE ME THE RIGHT ORIENTATION. IF YOU DONT HAVE THE TIME TO TYPE, YOU CAN EVEN DROP YOU NUMBER SO I CAN CALL AND WE CAN HAVE A PROPER DISCUSSION. THANK YOU ALL.

Good morning House,

Can anyone recommend a good tutor for IELTS writing for me, preferably someone on the island (Lekki/Ajah) axis for a one on one session at a fair rate. Preparing for a second attempt.

First attempt LRWS: 9, 6.5, 6.5, 7.5

Thanks.

Hello. Your profile shows that you get to receive maximum points on age and work experience. Answers in blue.

emwizzle:
Hello all...I read that you are only supposed to verify your highest qualification which in my case would be PGD by November/December. Yes! As for you, your highest qualification will be "two or more certificates (BSc + NOUN)". I have a degree from ABU Zaria but i heard the process takes a very long time, so if I'm to verify my degree also, can I start now and when my PGD is ready I will send to them too? and i keep seeing somethings about WAEC also. Because both are Nigerian degrees, WAEC is an additional requirement for a complete evaluation with WES (one of the evaluation agencies). You could choose to use others that do not require WAEC but timing could be a constraint.

If you do choose WES, all documents must be complete before evaluation can begin. So, for now, you can register an account and request your WAEC and BSc transcripts be sent to WES (given that the process takes time) but you don't want evaluation to start until you send your NOUN documents so that you won't have to pay twice. You'll have to hold off on paying until your NOUN documents have been received by WES, so that your evaluation does not start for "one certificate" (Bsc + WAEC). At the payment stage, choose Money transfer and that will get you a reference number which both WAEC and ABU needs to send your documents. But rest assured, you can pay with debit card when you are ready.
I hope this helps.

No one is required to include BSc with Masters. You've been told this now.

Its just WAEC that is required for Master's done in Nigeria (if using WES for the evaluation). There are other evaluation agencies.
