Also, method of payment I clicked IBAN and I put my details, again am I on the right track?lastly I intend travelling in November, can I put December 1st as the start month of the insurance or November 1st. My visa interview is in Oct (btw) please gurus in the house kindly help a sister. Big thanks

I used mavista. I didn't have issues with the name, so I wont be able to help concerning that. But the payment you'll use is by credit card, options would be given to you under it like visa, master card e.t.c. choose your type of card and fill your card number i.e the number on your atm.I can't advise on the month to choose cos someone on this forum helped me too concerning that.

Congrats o. But I have question. Why did your visum take over two weeks to come after your AM?
Did u submit an SL with passport and insurance or BA? just wondering

1. There was public holiday which delayed my submission and I used curia service.
2. Submitted only passport and insurance

You should write Mawista to sort the name ish out, shouldn't be a problem though. Ordinarily, your insurance should start the month you're entering DE/starting your programme (but say you're travelling late in the month like 27th above, you can use the second month on the condition that you have a travel insurance). Your insurance company won't be able to make deduction from your account because it's Blocked, which means you have to provide them an alternative account or what @oluwadamilolah suggested.

Good luck!

Good day all, congrats to everyone that have received AM alerts. Please how long does it take to receive back your documents plus stamped passport after sending the embassy your INSURANCE COVER and PASSPORT?

You can use the preceding month as your start date. On the name part, there won't be an issue, however, don't try using your credit card as premium payment option. Use your BA, though they won't be able to charge from it, but on getting to DE, you can open another bank account and give them the details.

Why don't you sign up for the Coracle travel insurance, it's free and for 6months. You mustn't have a Blocked account with them, to sign up for it. However, the catch is that, you must use one of their health insurance packages, which I believe are all Government health insurance, upon arrival in Germany. Of which, if you're below 30, would be a lot better.

If you enter Germany in October, mawista will charge you for October.(I opened my mawista on the 24th I was charged for that month cos they asked when did i come into germany and i told them)

If you have three names and just two entered it's fine.

As for putting your details. I dont know I opened my mawista when I got here so I dont know much about that

Good morning NLanders,
Pls I have a couple of questions I would love if anyone could help with:
- I booked my visa appointment on the 7th of August (LIST A) and got an interview invite slated for 5th September just 2days ago, however in the mail they sent, they included that my certificate must not be older than Jan 2017 which I could have sworn wasn't included when i wanted to booked the appointment, otherwise I'll chosen LIST B jejely. My question now is will this raise an issue?
- my second question is regarding the blocked acct. Which is advisable for one to open- Fintiba basic or Fintiba plus? I'm only asking because one seems to have insurance included
Thanks

Since you booked before the issuance no problem.
Your VO most likely will not even ask you and if He/She does, then you simply say you booked before the conditions were implemented.

A friend went for his interview yesterday with the same condition as yours. His VO did not ask him about it, he was interviewed by the woman on maroon dreads who’s presumably said to be the most task full VO (She’s the one who gives tests). He had a successful interview , Glory to God.

So just be calm and prepare for your interview. You are safe.
