Eldeee: Good morning. Please I’m new here but I’ve been reading all the comments and replies and stuff. Can I send details of blocked account to the embassy even without blocked amount in it yet. I’ve registered for a date but I’m yet to be given one catB. Registered July 30th. |

mcpapillo:1. No you can't send block opening confirmation when you've not even gotten a date. That's putting the cart before the horse. 2. Don't fund your blocked account until you get a date. |

HighPriest0:I used the 4th of October, enrollment deadline is the 27th of the same month |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by sassy92(f): 10:51am On Aug 30, 2019 |
Rumplestilzchen:Honestly with this deadline you won't get a date unless someone cancels their appointment and the embassy gives you their slot (the chances of this happening is very slim but with God all things are possible). So, my advice is that you get an extension till December or ask if your school will allow you to enrol online. Then you cancel and rebook. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello guys, I need help. Had my interview last week Thursday, I got a rejection together with my docs yesterday. The reason for the refusal is: "There are doubts concerning the indicated purpose of your trip as well as the ability to study." I intend to appeal but I need help especially from people who have experienced this & successfully appealed afterwards. Contributions are highly welcome. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Hello all. I am new here. I have been reading from part 7.Thank you to every single one of you. You all are amazing. i am looking to apply for winter 2020 that's September 2020. I have a degree in biochemistry and my result falls below a 2.2. I have over 6 years working experience in the managerial sector.(teaching 3 and office management 3 and ongoing) I just finished ab advanced diploma in Management with 2.1. 1. I want to apply for masters in Health and also in Management to different schools? is this possible even though I have no working experience in the health sector? 2. My degrees are in English, do I need to write and IELTS? If yes, can someone help with this info? 2. I currently have no funding. How possible is it to get scholarships with my history? 3. Must my sponsor be a resident in Germany? I have one in Us? 4.What do to facilitate these process speedily? 5.please I need a sample of motivation letter. |

Glauben: Sorry about this development. You need to state some facts: 1- Did you submit blocked account? 2- When is your enrollment deadline? 3- Which school and city? 4- What course is it and does it relate to your bsc course? All other details are necessary. Cheers! |

Good morning friends. I have a little concern. I funded the 10,236euros but fintiba hadn't changed the monthly amount to 853/month as at 15-08-2019, hence my blocking confirmation document stated 8,640euro. So I submitted it that way along with statement of account stating the 10,236euros. All I want to know is if there is any issues with this, or am I meant to attach any other thing to it. Please help me with ur thoughts. |

sassy92:Hello Sassy92, please I'm going for language school, my enrollment date is 1st nov but I can defer for 6 months max, I booked for an appointment since June 14 cat B and I'm yet to get a date. Please will you advise I cancel and rebook with a December enrollment date? Your response will be appreciated. Thanks |

sassy92: Alright. Thank you. But do you think I’ll get a date anytime soon. I’ve seen people say they got date even with the catB. My enrollment deadline is November but classes are supposed to start October. |

Why are people going to BSBI (Berlin School of Business and Innovation) not getting AMs? I am tired of refreshing my mail. |

vivianobas: What are these rates you are getting pls? Cos with a student discount Turkish Airlines is about 164k from Lagos and 184k from Abuja to most popular German cities. Are you saying you are getting a lower rate than this? |

Psomadina:1. provided your first degree is closely related to your intended masters course, you can apply. Work experience is valuable but you can still get admission without it. 2. Some schools insist you must provide an English Test (IELTS or TOEFL) while some will simply accept a letter from your university stating that your degree was taught in English (known as English Proficiency Letter-EPL). So check the requirements of the various schools you're interested in. But if you have the means, please write the English test as it will increase the number of schools you can apply to. 3. You can get a scholarship, check daad.de for available scholarships. 4. Your sponsor must be someone living and legally working in Germany. As for speed, the second name for this German waka is called PATIENCE. There's no way to fast track this process and don't let anyone scam you by promising you fast tracking. 5. Check Google, there are many sample templates. Extra tip: Since you're a winter 2020 hopeful, you have a lot of time to plan and prepare. Go on DAAD/Google/WIkipedia and search for schools/courses, get a pen and jotter and write all the schools, courses, application requirements, application mode (whether online or via post or via uniassist), application timeframe. Start gathering your documents. Please sort out the issue of funding because from November 1st, 2019, the embassy requires all coming for student visa interview to come with their proof of funds. And read and follow this thread, you'll gain an immense wealth of knowledge. All the best!! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Thewizardof0zil:Is your language school a prerequisite for admission? The German embassy doesn't usually grant visa for language school because there is Goethe Institute in Lagos and they'll refer you there. However, if it's a prerequisite for a university admission, they might grant you visa. But since you can extend, then cancel and rebook. |

builderperry: The 56k is for the student insurance. You need only the six month travel insurance right now for your visa. That one is 17,100. |

iPOD007: 1. I opened a Fintiba account & went with the make the transfer doc. I haven't funded as I intend to use SL. My sponsor just got the SL yesterday & informed me, I got a call from the courier service about 10 mins after I got the news that the SL was ready. The VO didn't ask me any question about funding, though she gave me 2 forms to sign to that effect. 2. Enrollment deadline is October 31st. 3. Begische Universität Wuppertal 4. MSc Computer Simulation in Science, specialization is Imaging in Medicine. Yes it relates, my UG degree was Physics. Had a 2:2, 3.42 Cgpa, graduated 09. I thought I did well in the interview, maybe the VO wasn't just impressed enough. |

Thegamingorca: I wish I knew, maybe I didn't do well enough in the VO's opinion. |
