what makes ramos standout is his leadership, ball playing and his clutch moments(could score at vital moments)
Defensively though he was rash and error prone,,, he regularly got turned inside out by the likes of ronladinho,eto'o, Messi and in la Liga Madrid regularly conceded over 40 goals in his peak years..
I could name you better defenders off top of my head the last 15yrs that's been levels above Ramos defensively( note the word-defensively)
