Even Jesus was bitterly resisted by the religious order of the day. Jesus' worst enemies were the religious folks. Of what use is the Truth without doubters and haters? I'm so certain some people resisting and fighting the OP would have done same to Jesus 2,000 years ago, after getting their skulls filled with Judaistic doctrines and a skewed understanding/expectation of who the Messiah is. Like I said, the TRUTH vindicates itself with the passage of time... I dey here dey observe the double standards in full glare. How it is not Christlike to call others names... except if you're the one doing the name calling. ![]() |

I came here because I was led to do so, and I'll soon leave because I've started having some nudging in my heart to leave, but I'm yet to comply because I want to be sure its of God.^^^ One of the OPs last posts. Anyone led by the Spirit can not be wrong, if it's time to leave, please do. Unfortunately there are those whose folly multiplies with their age as they get older, wisdom comes from the Spirit of God and they can never decipher that. @jesusjnr, please check with the OP and help me with his email address. Finally some people have through long, irrelevant posts, out of context scriptures, strife etc, derailed a beautiful thread. How many will dare talk about the spiritual angle to cultism? Many rock it and suppress the consequences, thereby attracting the innocent ones who only see the seemingly enviable part of it. OP has tried sha. 4 Likes |

Really sad that you left Nairaland my dearly beloved bro EnthronedbyGod, but as much as I didn't want you to leave, I said that if it be the Will of God, let it be done. I pray that the Lord who brought you here shall keep you safe and never leave you but be with you until the very end. I heard a voice say to me that someone greater is coming, so I patiently await for if it was the voice of God it shall surely come to pass. God bless you mightily bro. Gonna dearly miss your presence here even though this surely is not the end of our friendship, for wherever the Holy Ghost that brought us together leads you, He shall continue to connect us. Thanks for yieiding yourself to the Holy Spirit to this extent, so that He could use you to bless us in Nairaland. Til we meet again bro. 5 Likes 1 Share |

jesusjnr: Elijah goes, Elisha comes ... Haters and detractors will still be there. Mark my words, the same set of antagonists will still pop up when that time comes. Lol... it's just amazing how certain people age without growth and maturity. The passage of time will surely justify the TRUTH and reveal the motives of everyone under the sun. There's no escaping that. 2 Likes |

Knowledge is power. Satan has been defeated long ago. He only tries to hold onto people's ignorance to have some room to operate. He will therefore be angry when people are being enlightened abt his dark acts. Take these facts and deal with him. He is so weak. 1. Satan has been defeated, but he tries to get leverage by influencing people to do evil and also suffer evil. 2. He wants to keep people ignorant about God, and even about Satan, so that he can operate, under the cover of their ignorance. 3. Satan and his demons are behind many evils in the world such as cultism, idolatry, sicknesses, problems, etc. 4. Receiving salvation in Christ Jesus is the first step towards your victory over problems. 5. Christians have authority over Satan and all his demons. Command them and they will obey. They are your 'boys', so to say. 6. You may not know the name of every demon/evil spirit but you can command all of them. 7. Whenever you experience any problem, just command any demons that is causing it. If it is a demonic problem, the demon must hands off. If it is not a demonic problem, nothing spoil. You have lost nothing. 8. You don't need to see a vision or manifestation before dealing with demons. Once you sense a problem, command any demon behind as appropriate. I repeat, don't wait for visions or dreams or obviously abnormal things to happen, or for the problem to linger before you deal with the demonic hangle. A sentence or two issued in Jesus name settles it in less that one minute. Simple. Examples: 1. Any evil spirit making me feel depressed, I command you to stop that and go away from me, In Jesus name 2. In Jesus name, any demon sending customers away from my shop, be bound and be cast away. 3. I refuse to be sick, malaria, depart from me In Jesus name . 4. Idol if my father's house, troubling my life, I belong to Jesus, depart from me in Jesus name. 5. Every sexual demon, claiming to be my wife, I reject you, depart from me in the name of Jesus. 6. Every spirit working against my marriage, stop now and depart from me in Jesus name. Etc. Sometimes you need to deal with covenants and legal grounds, like : 7. I cancel by the blood of Jesus, every covenant the enemy is using to disturb my life/finances/marriage/health etc. 8. By the blood of Jesus I separate myself from the yoke of ancestral idols. Stay blessed and ontinue to enjoy your overlordship over the powers of darkness without fear and trembling. Jesus is Lord! 7 Likes |

OkCornel:Dude there no prophecy given to you by God that's not in the Bible. All you have to do is ask Him to relate/show you where it's written in the Bible. If the spirit of such prophecy refuses then that spirit is from the pit of hell. Every situation we are/will pass through is coded in the 66books. We no need jara. 3 Likes |

ichuka: Please show me where Nigeria is written in the Bible, after God gives you a prophecy concerning Nigeria. And also, please tell us King James (1611 version) was wrong to print this version of the Bible with more than 66 books. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Bible-Books/1611-KJV-Original-Book-Names.php I can't believe you all think all of God's word can be limited to only 66 books. This is the greatest joke of all time. I mean, an eternal God that has been existing and communicating with man long before man invented ink and paper has ALL HIS WORDS in 66 books? This is a classic case of mistaking written truth for complete truth. 1 Like

@ichuka, Check out the first version of King James Bible, the Ethiopian Bible, and the Codex Sinaiticus (Sinai Bible) then tell us how many books you see there. The Codex Sinaiticus came to the attention of scholars in the 19th century at Saint Catherine's Monastery in the Sinai Peninsula, with further material discovered in the 20th and 21st centuries. Although parts of the codex are scattered across four libraries around the world, most of the manuscript is held today in the British Library in London, where it is on public display. Since its discovery, study of the Codex Sinaiticus has proven to be useful to scholars for critical studies of biblical text. While large portions of the Old Testament are missing, it is assumed that the codex originally contained the whole of both Testaments. About half of the Greek Old Testament (or Septuagint) survived, along with a complete New Testament, the entire Deuterocanonical books, the Epistle of Barnabas and portions of The Shepherd of Hermas. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Codex_Sinaiticus http://orthochristian.com/94812.html It's a tough pill to swallow for those who were raised from the womb with the thought that everything pertaining to the completeness of God's word ends in 66 books. The purest and most complete word of God is the Spirit of God/Truth that will guide every believer into ALL TRUTH (Both written and unwritten). |

OkCornel: Lol bro, sorry but, have to say these. You don't KNOW the Scripture or the Power of God.Matt22:29 You see the knowledge of the scripture and Gods power are two different things, that must work together in the life of a.christain. The Bible 66books can be amplified to fill all the libraries on earth with the aid of His power the His Spirit. So bro why would any one need 67...books when 66 is enough? 2 Likes |

Re: Cultism, The Spiritual Consequences And Deliverance Through Christ by OkCornel(m): 10:30pm On Aug 29, 2019 |
ichuka: You're simply regurgitating all these because your mind has been conditioned right from birth to think God's word is only limited to 66 books. I've shown you the first version of KJV Bible, are those extra books in it works of fiction? I've also shown you the oldest versions of the Bible available namely the Ethiopian Bible and the Codex Sinaticus. Those extra books in there, who inspired the authors to write them? Don't fall for that subtle trap of prioritizing the limited product (Bible) over and above the limitless source (Spirit of God). Wake up! |
Re: Cultism, The Spiritual Consequences And Deliverance Through Christ by OkCornel(m): 10:50pm On Aug 29, 2019 |
Permit me to sound this out. Pray earnestly for the guidance of the Spirit of God to lead you into all TRUTH. Without the Spirit of God, even the 66 book Bible will be nothing but confusion to you. You can't be successful at furthermaths if you are still struggling with basic arithmetics. Ask for the spirit of understanding. It is understanding that helps you connect the various dots of knowledge to help you see the bigger picture of the TRUTH. Excess knowledge with little understanding is the perfect recipe for confusion. The foundation of everything starts and ends with the Spirit of God. Anything outside this, you'll end up hurting yourself. Ask, and ye shall receive. Seek, and ye shall find. You cannot ask God for bread and get stone in return, nor fish and get a serpent instead. Ask for His help with faith (i.e. complete trust) in Him, and He'll surely answer you. |
