what i noticed was that i saw two other guys who had UAE job visa on there passport and immediately they heard they have been to uae they were refused. UK JOb offer move.. make i safe my money for my UK trip.

Thank you for sharing your transcript with us and I think we should obey and adhere to terms of visa when traveling.

Ditto. During interviews your answer should be apt to the question at hand without volunteering more information than is asked. Still, in this particular case it's more than likely that there would have been a follow up question about staying that long in the UAE.

Further, meeting someone online strictly on business and then wanting to go visit that person as a friend wouldn't fly at the consulate - that explains why the V.O was interested in knowing more about the friend... I actually haven't seen anyone who has suceeded in securing a tourist visa to go visit someone they met online; that's very rare even in the case of an online romantic setting. Hope this helps.

To start with, an invitation letter from an individual in the U.S is not a legally binding document so don't count on the letter having any impact whatsoever on the decision of the interviewing officer. Moreover anyone can come up with an invitation letter. The officer will not waste time reading the invitation letter - that's for SURE. If you read some of my earlier posts: one question you would most certainly be asked is why your brother can't come visit you and your sister in Nigeria? Since your sister is still in school she's likely making no income which already is a red flag and basis for denial. If you claim your brother is sponsoring the trip you're only going to complicate matters in a way that guarantees a denial. As for documents: obviously your pay slips and bank account statements - showing you have enough capacity to sponsor the trip, letter of employment from your employer, letter of enrollment from the school; but most importantly be prepared to explain your strong ties to Nigeria and why they should believe you'll come back.

You get plenty red flag. First time leave na straight to America. I know you will say why not but I am just telling you the way the VO reason. You no go Kenya, you no go Dubai, you no go OBUDU RESORT, na America straight. Most VO's won't be convinced.
Moreso, you are married and you are travelling alone. Meaning money may be the problem. Most VO's believe for a family man, vacation is better spent as a family. Now your very first vacation in a long time, you are supposed to take your wife and kid to OBUDU or Ghana for a memorable holiday but you prefer to spend it in America. Only God knows when next they will give you leave at work meaning your innocent wife will still be denied quality time with hubby for a long time simply because hubby want to go to America.
Sorry, I am not convinced thus time you are not trying to JAPA....you may apply another time

NB....let me be serious here. The moment you tell the VO you are married, he will want to know why you are not travelling with hubby. If you say she no get leave, he will just pass and deny you . Quote me for that. And even if you go with them, he will ask wether you have travelled together as a family before. If you say no, he will in 90percent of the cases deny you. Meaning....take them to South Africa first so that we know you are genuine tourist. Nevertheless, I am not a VO and people in your shoes have been granted visa before although ninety percent of people in your shoes will be denied. Go with plenty of luck.

This is a unique question. Unfortunately neither you nor anyone on here can predict what questions you will be asked. In other words, no one is an authority on this subject. As has been said a million times, be candid and honest in your interview rather than ask people to "correct your mistakes." If you're being honest then there should be nothing to correct. That said, as the post before this has already mentioned, there are already red flags. Why isn't your friend visiting you instead? And why isn't your family tagging along? Why can't your travel wait until a time your entire family can travel? Why the U.S? Have you considered other destinations? I'm not asking you to answer these here but to look at these questions from the perspective of VO. Further, you know this person through work and just because you communicate a lot (as a result of work) isn't a basis for a close personal relationship with the said friend as far as V.O is concerned. This is probably not what you're expecting to hear but the reality is it has become much more difficult to secure a visa now than before - so expect to be seriously scrutinized during your interview. Good morning house, am happy to be here, my journey so far has been like this, I have wanted to be in USA since 2009, but have not been granted visa, 2009 application with invitation in business trip but was denied, 2012 on invitation buy my cousin whom I saw last in 2004 after her wedding was denied too, another invitaion from my friend 2014 with my wife due to lack of date and her pregnancy has shown,I guess that too affect us, because our reason was tourism and not child birth, the last was 2016,I made mistake on my application, and barcode. Now I have traveled to south African twice for holidays, 2013,2015,India for training 2017, UK for vacations 2018.I also have invitation from my cousin who is registered nurse in the USA, what is my chance, should try it alone or family, it was my first SA that I went with my wife, no baby then, but the rest alone just to build my travel history. Please candid advice (thanks)

What I discovered from my experience in Abuja
1. It is advisable to present virgin passport than given it to someone to stamp for you in Benin ��, Togo �� or Ghana. Once they sight these stamps, wàhálà don start
2. I saw about two fresh applicants with virgin passport who were given visas
3. Ghana stamp is a red flag. All of us that our passport were stamped in Ghana were packed aside without any interviews. Only two applicants that genuinely traveled to Ghana by air were given back their passport without visa.
The rest of us were instructed to contact NIS HQ for our passport.
4. An elderly woman who can not speak any language than her local language (Igbo) was given visa despite no travel experience with virgin passport.
5. We were all interviewed separately by FBI official to authenticate our travel to Ghana as we claimed.
6. My boss and his wife were issued visa and I was not even given any chance of interview. My boss seriously regretted his action of sending my passport to Ghana for stamping cos I warned him to let me present it virgin to try my luck.
7. They need sincerity and if you are going to lie, perfect it well cos they always have their way of finding out. Good luck.
