True. But he also went on to feature in Ligue 1.
If Uzoho is that good he will feature in a decent league at least before he retires. There are several Cameroonian GKs I can give as an example. Besides Enyeama, we also had our share of GKs in the past.

Bros goal keeper matter no easy nah

How many African young keepers you wan call now

Aigbogun's boys as expected failed to clinch the gold medal. They fell 2-0 to Burkina faso.

As expected by who? You?
I am sure you also never expected them to get to the final.

I never saw your comments on your expectations when they were winning.

It's on record that this man has paraded probably the worst Nigerian team in any FIFA competition. Don't expect surprises from him. I can tell a lot about any coach after their first tournament outing.

It means u only started following football in the recent years.

I wonder what was going through your mind when he was winning through the group stage and semis. You were probably disappointed.

The team won only one game.

Rooting for D’Tigers today. Wining this match is crucial to advancing.

All the best to our men!

I can see that a penalty win is not a win.

Do you know the last time Nigeria played in the AG Final?

we've not won football gold in over 40yrs

Well, that's the more reason why it's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for very poor Aigbogun to win the gold medal

Lol.

And who did they win exactly? They won SA 2-1 and the Semi-final on penalties. The others ended in draws.

I will prefer to comment on the team performance in a tournament than celebrating 2 wins ( one was via a penalty shootout) and 2 draws

I am still trying to understand how they got to the final to be candid. Infact, I wasn't surprised when someone mistakenly said they were walloped 4-1by Morocco. That's the kind of results you expect when Aigbogun leads a team

Even Foden is bang average, Nothing special. The only reason Man city still keeps him, is to fill the British quota in the squad. If he leaves the shadows of City, we will rate him by then

Foden is not average, He's not the only British youth teamer in Man city but the only one promoted to the first team

I'm sure you have not watched his performance at Man City

Iheanacho was expectional when he was promoted, Besides Foden is still in the team but is blocked by world stars like David Silva, De Bruyne and Gundogan

Kelechi was also blocked by World Stars at a point, very soon, Foden will find his level, except he wants to perpetually remain in the abyss of nothingness.

David Silva is retiring soon, Pep doesn't even want to send him on loan

That's how high Pep rates him

Trust me he's average.

if he's that good, he would have gotten an invite into the national team, because England needs midfielders. He's not even half as good as James Maddison of Leicester.

Even Mason mount got an invite ahead of him.
these two guys have distinguished themselves as exceptional midfielders. But Mr Foden is not proven. We don't know what he can do, because he's hiding under world class midfielders. Nobody will rate him for now, not even the England coach

How would they send him on loan when Mancity doesn't have too many home grown. He's just filling the quota. if Silva retires this morning, Man city will buy to replace him.

If Foden was average, Guardiola would not keep him. The young man is an ideal Guardiola player. When Guardiola first arrived, Foden was one of the first players, Txiki, the tech director of Manchester City, introduced to Guardiola. Note Txiki is also a Barcelona man.

What is going on with Foden is a long term moulding into a Guardiola player on tactical insights. He is a long term under study of David Silva and he will get his nod soon. Just as Guardiola demonstrated in one of the Tottenham games.

City execs noted the kid, endorsed by Guardiola and he went on to become the best player at the U17 World Cup. Not a coincidence. In that team of England, Foden stood out when another bright gem identified by City, Jaydon Sancho was in the same team.

Everybody knows Foden is the heir to Silva

Even Guardiola said he's the most talented player for his age but it is tough upstaging De Bruyne, Silva and Gundogan

Man City don't mince mouth when replacing players, even when Fernandinho is there they have already replaced him

If they are planning to buy Silva's replacement you will know by now
