Exactly bro! A similar accident occurred to me while I was on my way to Lagos.. My car somersaulted and fell about 100m into a dish.. There was no external injury, but when I got home, slept and woke up the next morning, I could not rise up on my own. My neck spine had problem.

the need to protect the occupants of a vehicle isn't a small task , the crash tests and perfections are shown here , its luck , fine , but if this man wasn't wearing his seat belt he would have been a dead fish in the water ,the airbags wouldn't have deployed , and he would have died , these are put in here to protect lives , the car called lexus are high in safety ratings
