Seriously Nigerians are too slow. Just take a look at this thread ,look at how everyone is so fixated on attacking ipob ,that the main reason for the protest has been COMPLETELY missed..."the water way bill". Why is the federal government so fixated on controlling every square inch of space in Nigeria. We are screaming that we want federalism and restructuring, but now that the federal government is planning to take control of even inland waterways and the land around them, All those screaming for restructuring, both the west and Niger deltans, all of them have abandoned their wailing for restructuring and began attacking ipob despite the fact that ipob is protesting against that controversial decision by the FG... even when they know that they themselves will be affected by the bill. Seriously bigotry is a disease, tribalism is the reason why our "leaders" are always one step ahead of us the stupid masses. As the bigots concentrate their attacks on ipob the greedy unprogressive federal government will swoop on their water ways and then when they realize just how further they have slipped from resource control, they will turn from attacking ipob and continue wailing for restructuring and federalism. Blind nation. 40 Likes 9 Shares |

horsepower101:no northern state. Imagine, federal government wants to take over east, west and south, and convert it to Ruga. Thanks for IPOB that have been giving them sleepless night. I have said it before, if for IPOB all the eastern state would have been taken over by the north. 16 Likes 3 Shares |

Ikegift4real: In a sane society...one where the voice and choice of the people matters, the gov't (which can't pretend not to know what IPOB is demanding since they've murdered them and ran to the courts to get a kangaroo order to have them proscribed as terrorists)....the gov't would have put measures in place for a referendum on the Biafra question to have the issue settled once and for all! As we speak, Ethiopia has agreed to have a referendum for one of its regions that is seeking for autonomy! The United Kingdom that we like to ape has also done it with Scotland, yet here in Nigeria all we here is 'one indivisble nonsense'! 21 Likes 3 Shares |

jakezebrax: Besides that the flag has a story line, Red represents the blood of those massacred in northern Nigeria and in the consequent Nigeria-Biafra war. Black is for mourning them and in remembrance. Green is for prosperity and the half of a yellow/golden sun stands for a glorious future. The sun has eleven rays, representing the eleven provinces of Biafra. 18 Likes 3 Shares |

nengibo:the flag wasn't designed to be fine. It upholds a history. It signifies years of toiling and struggling for freedom. It signifies our connection to our ancestors, it signifies a ray of hope and it signifies the innocent bloods shed for freedom. The flag is not a design, it's a message. Thanks 27 Likes 4 Shares |
