@nnamdi, I am looking at a business degree that is a free tuition, checked through daad its only a school in Berlin I see that offers that and they require English test.. If there is any u know that is not in daad, help me with that...applying for a school that charges tuition fee won't be easy with this 10236euro blocking before interview.. My brother I swear it won't be easy for #datonitshaboy

2. For those that sent their documents for enrolment did they enrol online before sending their documents by post.
3.Please can one also use the MAWISTA students classics health insurance as travel insurance at the German Embassy.

Yes this woman may be stricter than other VOs but I really don't think it's really about her. If you read through the several interview transcripts on this thread you'll know that YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO CONVINCE YOUR VO WHY YOU WANT TO STUDY IN GERMANY. Which means you need to take into account:
- your course of study and why you chose that course.
- your future plans and how your study course plays a role in it.
Yes, most Nigerians simply want to escape from Nigeria using the study route but YOU CANNOT GO AND TELL THE VO THAT. And from the way and manner you present yourself, I'm sure they can easily detect that.
Here's some lil advice for those yet to do interview
- You see that checklist on the embassy's website, IT IS A CHECKLIST OOO, DON'T JUST DOWNLOAD IT, PRINT IT OUT AND USE IT TO CHECK, DOUBLE CHECK AND TRIPLE CHECK YOUR DOCUMENTS. Make sure you go with all you need + photocopies else those hustlers at the embassy will use you to shine.
- Please prepare for your interview, as in be serious. Don't go to the embassy and start arranging docs there or writing motivational letter there. DO ALL THESE FROM YOUR HOUSE. Check the previous transcripts and see the order of arrangements for documents so that you won't have issues with Paulinus.
- Your motivation letter is key. Please make sure that you write it well.

Sorry if I sound aggressive but I think some people need to hear this.

This same lady interviewed me and I thank God she did. if u just rely on her facial expressions u will hate yourself. She wants you to know what your saying and be confident about it. Like I said,thank God I was interviewed by her and on 27th of August I got AM for an interview on the 5th. Do u know the Miracle? I haven't funded yet.
It isn't about VO. It's about You,You and You and with God in it.

Congratulations on your AM! You've said it all, it's not about the lady, yes, she may seem unfriendly and strict but it's about You too. Make sure you do your part and do it well.

All these VO issues should not be something to be afraid of. On Friday 19th of July, I was interviewed by this same woman on dread, she wasn't smiling dou but like I have said before, she is cool. My documents got to the alien office on the 23rd of July and I got my AM under 4weeks. Just prepare well, and give points to her, I noticed she doesn't like stories.

The universities in Baden-Württemberg do grant exemption from the 1,500 Euro tuition fees paid each semester to some category of countries. For instance, The University of Tübingen (officially the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen) grants exemption to a list of Least Developed Countries, of which Nigeria is included in the list. However, you have to apply for exemption immediately after admission. The exemption application is usually within 3 weeks after admission.

I believe this is a Baden-Württemberg policy and not just the university of Tübingen. Therefore, anyone who intends to apply for a public university in Baden-Württemberg should email the international admissions office of the university to find out if the same policy applies there.

What message did you get from the alien office before your AM dropped.

I mailed the alien office too last week Wednesday and I got this "the process of your visa application is already finished, for further information please contact the embassy" but am yet to receive AM.

You said it as it is. If it's the young lady with golden tip locks, then she's ok. Assuming I get a rejection which I know I won't and have to go back for another interview, I'd hope she interviews me again. All these lamentations about her is unnecessary and won't come up if you're well prepared for your interview.
