Mercy came with Nina's nice girl script and she already knew how people turned against Miracle and supported Nina after everything. Moreso why she always makes it look like Ike is playing her. I'm sure the smart Ike must have known this but he won't want to talk about it and the more reason he doesn't want to justify Mercy's insinuation.
