Hey guys! Good Day, im aspiring to travel to relocate to Canada in order to learn a new skill, live and work. what does it entail for someone to be successful
in such. The school I plan to attend a course advice me to apply for a Visit visa due to the fact that they are not a DLI(Designated learning institution) i.e college/university.

What are your advices for me to get the visit visa swiftly and obtain legal documentations for a success entry in order to partake in the course which I'm planning for March 2020??

This is the first time am seeing been process. though I've been using the tracking ID sent to me via SMS to check it, right now I used the one on the receipt as said by you.. .Please what does the been processed means sir?? As am so confused! Thank you bunch

hoppa:
It should track. You are not using the right information. Pls go back to the tracking page of vfs to track pls. Use the tracking id on the receipt you got from vsf when you submitted.

This is unclear. She applied now with her maiden name and applied with married name previously even though she had not changed her name? What is the name in her passport? Did the agent use falsified documents for the name in d previous application? The issue is unclear to me.
The agent used a false marriage certificate...

It means your application is still been processed at the Canadian Embassy. Keep checking from time to time.

@Ozzz

1. Paper or Online application, which is quickest to catch up the date. Try Paper. However, I expect processing times to drop

2. Is medical exam and biometrics a must take for this visa? Yes to biometrics ages 14 to 79. No medical exam

3. How many months usually given for graduation purpose ?Depends on the VO

4. My job was on contract and is currently over January, does this in anyway limit my chance of the visa? Truthfully? Yes.

5. if the biometrics or medical exam is compulsory for visitors please where do I go for this? For biometrics, VFS Canada locations in Abuja or Lagos.

6. If am applying online, is there provision for father, mother and son on same purpose applying all at once or they are seperate accounts needed for 3 of us? No Separate account needed. Use this tool to generate the required documents
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/come-canada-tool.html

7. last trip was the UK for study 2014, never been denied.Travel history is a positive factor

8. should I make my purpose dynamic incase the graduation is too short to meet up ,so if so, what other reasons can we give so as to atleast get the visas and celebrate with my brother incase the processing time cuts us short. Multipurpose? Like tourism? Sure. You just have to convince the VO that you are a genuine tourist.

What are my chances generally ? Asses your eligibility.

@NothingDoMe

Thanks a bunch, you are indeed a life saver, the tool link you sent me via No 6 was awesome. However, I decided to go with online application as it seems so easy and convenient for me.
I have begun my application and I met certain unsure stops.

On the the two screenshots attached, one talks about a representative for the application, Please what is the best option as we are three, myself and parents, and am the one in charge of applications but dad is the sponsor.

Also the second screenshot got me confused, our purpose is to attend my brothers graduation, visit visa tourism or visit visa All other types ?

Thanks

You can give a third party like another family member access to your information or he can be a representative to apply on your behalf. This won't be necessary since you are handling the application.

As for the other screenshot, Visit-All other types is the correct response. That drop down menu changes when you try to submit an application for a family member. Dont know why.

Appointment dates often open up towards the end of the week however you can still go ahead and walk in.

Hey guys, I have a quick question and i would be grateful if anyone here can help me out, my cousin is getting married and he wants to send me an invitation to come for the wedding in November, what are my chances of getting a visa? What documents do i need to prep? And can I apply with a printed copy of the invitation letter before the original arrives Nigeria. He's Canadian by the way. Thanks

My brother got second refusal too.

Reasons for first refusal:

Travel history
Purpose of visit

Reasons for second refusal:

Travel history: he has only being to east African countries.

Purpose of visit: the conference was postponed till next year. We are not sure if the consular knew that the conference would be postponed during the visa processing. The conference organizers sent a letter to him that the conference has been postponed a week after visa refusal.

Finance: he submitted statement of account of 10 million naira and treasury bills certificate of 25 million naira.

Asset: he submitted 8 landed properties worth 80 million naira.

Sorry about your brother's refusal @IamR , From what i could gather, it is apparent your brother is a high networth individual. DM me so that I can guide you how I changed my purpose of visit from just a vacation that earned me a refusal to exploratory visit where I stated boldly I am interested in becoming a Permanent Residence but needed to come around to explore business opportunities.
