engrrozay:As long as the company pays the said CAD7500 into your personal bank account you are good, but if they don't then it won't fly. The company is a third party, so they need to show commitment by paying the money to your account or better still pay towards your tuition. In the case of your brother, he doesn't have to pay the money into your account but just to make your case even more stronger(fund related) let him also transfer the fund to you. NB: You brother and the company should write a letter of support stating they are sponsoring you and give some reasons why they are doing so. Also they should state they have paid your tuition fee or transfer the said funds to you(whichever route they decide to take) with dates. That still doesn't stop them from also submitting their respective SOA. 2. Your work ID, payslip (or any proof to show you receive salary from the said company), transcript (if you have access to it, but if you don't then explain how your Bsc and intended course are related), employment letter and anything that you feel will help your app 1 Like |

engrrozay:If your school accepts tuition fee payment before you apply for visa and they have a good refund policy then your company should pay using their account and state it in their letter of support that they have paid and state the date the transaction was made(with proof of receipt), but if the school's refund policy isn't cool then let the company pay the money into your account and state it in their letter that they have paid the money into your account. As for list of documents to submit, check the first page of this part and also CIC website to get that 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello everyone , happy new week. I had a 2:2 in my undergraduate so I applied for a pdg in conestogac college for a program in january 2020 but was denied for the first choice based on (Ranked program - GPA insufficient for admittance) since june , I was told they will look into my second and third choices if I have any but since then, there is no decision yet for my second and third choices. Has anyone had this issue? I have messaged the school but no reply yet. also if there is any school that accepts 2:2 I will appreciate if you could recommend , thanks a lot. |

darey360:what kind of 2.2 did u graduate with, as in ur total GPA? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by makano: 11:31am On Sep 02, 2019 |
When applying to Conestoga, you must have 3 choices of programs.. So for ur case now, u were not Eligible to study ur 1st choice cos of ur Low CGPA,now u have to be patient for them to work on the remaining 2 programs and If u are eligible to study any of them, then u will be given a letter of Acceptance to ur qualified program.. Conestoga takes at least 1 month 15 days to accept an applicant to a program depending on the number of applicants for that program, so u need to be patient.. If the denial of ur 1st choice is within 1 month 15 days, then I will advice u wait a little bit.. And if by later this month u don't receive any response, u can pm me.. I will give u their admission office number, so u can speak with them.. Please note I will only give u if ur application has passed the stipulated time.. Peace darey360: |

engrrozay: Hello Engrrozay, You're lucky to be shown such support and intent of sponsorship by the office you work for, not all employers are this thoughtful. Also, its good that you have your own personal funds of 4.2m enough to cover your 1yr LE and part of your tuition fees. However, there are some questions that might come up - from my own perspective, like: 1. How long is the duration of your program, how long have you been working for the office and what effective role are you playing or held position that makes the office want to splash $7,500 CAD on you and to what end is their own benefits. 2. Is the office only making a promissory intent/letter of the $7,500 CAD support funds per year or they will be showing the monetary commitment via a liquid cash deposit into your account, which is the very height of showing commitment. 3. Literally, no human on earth with expenses and demanding responsibility would cough out 3m out of 4.6m to sponsor someone. Though possible, but its almost impossible. My advise to you will be to have a bloodly and brotherly talk with your brother to transfer at least the sum of 3m to your account to make the sum boost up to 7.2m which would be enough to cover both your LE and tuition fees if its 1yr in duration and $14k as cost. This way, your brother only have to write a LOSupport that he has committed and transfer such funds to cover your 1yr LE, then exclude his BS but you can include his other supporting documents of source of funds and the likes. OR if you don't want him in the picture, then be creative and look for other means to explain the lump sum deposited. 4. With this, your office will be the sole sponsor and as well try to make some financial commitment of some sort - too much meat doesn't ruin a soup, and also show means of meeting your study cost for the subsequent year if the program is 2yrs. It put your application and you in a better position if your office doesn't only make financial promissory, but show commitments. 5. Another challenge that might pose to be completely not flexible is your prospect program of AD after a Bsc. The good thing is that you can make yourself be a gladiator who wields Thor's hammer with your 4yrs of work experience to build on the reasons you went for a AD instead of a PGC/D or Masters. NB: In as much as an Advance Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma/Certificate can be or are used interchangeably by schools, but professionally, in the job market, PGD is weighs higher. 5. Show good and cinvincing home ties. 6. Believe and be watchful. 7.You will then testify. P.S: showing a hugh closing balance isn't "also" a guarantee if the needful are not put together. Good luck! 5 Likes |

JustMellow:Many thanks for you kind words. I would love to answer some of the concerns u raised... 1. My program is for 2 years and it’s muchly an industry and field experience advanced diploma 2. I’ve worked there for 4 years and they are committed to continuous professional development of their staff and due to their new exploit in oil and gas structures they need to be equipped to face this challenge, so the need to add value to their staff. 3. The office is committed to send the money to my account if the need arises 4. I would also need to find out.... apart from land which other home ties is acceptable. N/b I don’t have a car. 5. Someone told me that using office as a sole sponsor won’t fly.How true is this information. Pls. Thanks and God bless you sir |

makano:Did that few days ago and I got a reply few hours ago "Unfortunately, the two other program choices are full and closed for January 2020 intake.. If you wish to be considered for another open program for the January 2020 intake, you will be required to submit a new application. Please note that a new application fee will be required, as 3 program choices were selected in your application." But now I cannot create a new application if the previous is still on |
