You can transfer the whole €10,425 at once to your BA but you can NOT deposit the whole €10,425 at once into your DORM account in access bank cos of the daily deposit limit. So I guess you were advised to deposit into your dorm account twice, when you have the whole BA amount in your dorm account, tranfer to your BA..shikena

good day house.

NijaDueprocess:

I don't get your question, can you explain properly so that we'll know how to help you?

Thanks. I mean I booked for visa appointment but no confirmation of booking was sent to me talkless of the date. I tried to rebook so that I can get the confirmation but I was told I have already done so. The question now is how can I solve this problem. Thanks

Are you sure you typed your email address correctly? Also check your spam mail for the confirmation mail. If you don't see it, then you probably didn't type your email address correctly

Hello gurus in the house, please i want my daughter to go to Germany to study medicine and surgery, please can someone give me a cheapest school for her to study and what are the requirement she needs for her to go with to the embassy, though she just finished her school cert this year...Thanks

Interview completed and it all went well.
Thanks to everybody on this forum and special thanks to Pest007 for coming to my rescue last night. God bless you broda.

Transcript was nothing out of the usual. Same regular questions.
Why this course
Why Germany
Why not Nigeria , canada or the US
Undergraduate thesis
What do you know about Germany, etc.

From my appraisal of the whole process, all you need is to be confident. Prepare well with all the points and info you have here, do some extra research just to spice things up and you are ok, not even Paulinus will be an issue.

God bless Us all in our pursuit for a better future.

You don't have to worry about that.
When they want to send your document, they will call to obtain another travel date from you.
That was what happened to me.

Courses like medicine, dentistry and pharmacy are most times restricted courses and they are only taught in German. Your German proficiency should be at level-C2 or it's equivalent. This should be obtained before any further consideration of admission.

The best path for your daughter would be through Studienkolleg. Admission for a place in Studienkolleg would require your child has German prociency of B1-B2. This level of proficiency can be obtained in Nigeria in Goethe Institut.

Some schools would require you undergo special training known as Ausbildung before you embark to study medicine, pharmacy and dentistry.

VISA Alert!

Finally my VISA came in today.
AM came on 28th August.
I submitted insurance and passport same day.

Heading to TH Koln - Gummersbach. Anyone going to Koln here?

The journey was not easy but being with this Nairaland family made everything good. You all have been very helpful and I can only pray for success to everyone on any waiting list.

Wishing everyone waiting for AD, AL, AM and VISA success.

Cheers!

Studienkolleg is a year program just like pre-degree, at the end of the program,You are equipped enough for a study in German institution. Your German proficiency would be adequate to attempt Goethe C2 Zertifikat exam.
