Exactly what I hate about out police. They would rather kill their citizens to protect a foreigner.

Let's be rational here.

Police, kidnappers, ritualists, fake medicine, bad hospitals, and truck drivers waste the lives of innocent Nigerians everyday. What's all the noise now that South Africans are wasting lives? Is it because of a few lives lost in SA we will now protest? What of the hundreds of lives lost every day in Nigeria, caused by Nigerians and our government? Why don't we protest that?

Please don't say: "what if it was your relative killed in SA?" I have lost relatives in Nigeria to the aforementioned, and nobody protested for them, or people like them.

The protests/killings started because a (SA?) taxi driver was shot dead by a (NG?) drug dealer. Now everybody and their uncle is "reacting", losing perspective, and swearing up and down, yet doing nothing to back it up or cause for real change. The person who last called for a revolution protest march is cooling his heels in DSS custody, all but forgotten. As usual, I give these reactions 3 more days before we're on to the next distraction. Mtchew!

Looting and burning shoprite will not affect an average South African.
it wouldn't even deter them from doing the worse.

the only way to get back at them is to sponsor low-key terrorism, by the time multiple blasts rocks joburg and Pretoria, their heads will reset.. nonsens!

This is the same thing we should have been reading about the cops in South Africa,
How they stop South Africans from looting Nigerian shops.
Taking Our Big Brother Africa stance too serious.........

But on the other hand.......

Protesting is one thing.
Breaking into a mall and stealing is another thing.

The government should act fast and make sure South Africa do something about this xenophobia issue urgently.
Things are about to get outta hands.

We remembered that particular day Nelson Mandela was freed after 27 years in prison, It was celebration galore here in Nigeria.
Our School declared a public holiday , remembered vividly just like yesterday.
We remembered all Nigeria did during the apartheid period in south Africa.
So why all these hatred for your fellow African brothers and sisters?!
Let us live in peace guys.
Let Love lead.

Stupidity.

In as much as I condemn any loss of life. Let them destroy something to send a message across.

How would the families of the affected Nigerians feel seeing the police prevent this occurrence.

Two wrongs cannot make a right, we need to be cautious as there are more Nigerians staying in SA. They will simply retaliate and kill more Nigerians while we have only their businesses to destroy.
