you and the South African man problem is BIBLICAL ILLITERACY. Deuteronomy 28 and the context is about COURSE AND BLESSING. the part the south African man quote is the part of cursed and it is for people like you who IGNORED the commandment of God, Read verse 45:

45 All these curses will
come on you. They will pursue you and
overtake you until you are destroyed,
because you did NOT OBEY the LORD your
God and OBSERVED THE COMMANDS and
decrees he gave you.
