I responded that having on your CV "Former Presidential Candidate" is quite big. It means you have some sort of mandate to speak on issues. The world community would view you as credible. And any invite from WEF, UN, etc, comes with payment in dollars.

In essence, it means money. Dollars.

That is what she is chasing there. The dollars, the clout, the stage. Hence her explanations makes sense to only herself.
