The the xenophobic attacks in South Africa has taken a new dimension after Nigeria and other countries reacted in different ways.

Now, South African police have stormed the road looking for foreigners without valid ID and papers. Any foreigner without these would be arrested and probably deported.

I can tell difference between Nigerians, Ghanaians, Cameroonians, and Senegalese and so on. I can even tell some east Africans apart – Ethiopic types are different from Massai types and I can even identify those Kenyans mixed with the Ethiopics.

Its very easy to identify Nigerians except some of us that are Rastas
Although it’s mostly via behaviors and how we dress.
All south Africans, Kenyans and many other nations wear shoes, boots and jackets almost all the time because of cold but Nigerians! Trust them with the pam sandals , gucci and all sort of designers and bling bling, how we talk too especially in a loud tune.
I stayed most of my time constantly reminding my friends to bring their voices down and be calm always because everywhere we went, they knew we were Nigerians

What are the instructions and duties of the South African police force during this period? They are ment to protect lives first.

Checking for illegal migrants is fine bt doing it now while encouraging violence by their citizens shows sinister intentions. Nigerians don’t treat foreigners this ways.
