The newly enhanced passport takes about a week to be out ... at most 2weeks .. just saying .. never exceeds that ... the old passport ... opposite ... dont know why ... but thats how it is .. if you applied for the old passport please and please be patient ..in this matter .. even your money will not help ... just be patient .. and disturb the immigration people wella ... but if you applied for the newly enhanced passport .. your pp would most definitely be ready in a week time .. for sure ...

In addition, is this timeline applicable to any NIS Passport center or do I have to go all the way to Ikoyi?

Like my Drivers License renewal, I plan to renew my passport myself, but I'm a bit pressed for time, so need to get the timing right. Thanks for your help!

Send an e mail to this e mail address. Be respectful, mention the name and the phone number of the agent . Tell them you need urgently and the agent collected money from you. Also send them your enrollment number. You will get your passport in 24hrs.

I captured same day registered online at a cyber cafe close to their office.

When you get to shagamu under bridge, take a bike and tell them you are going to the new passport office at GRA.

If you can travel to Benue state its fast, I did my renewal in Abuja and payed 35k and it took 2weeks to come out with the help of an immigration officer and its the new passport. My wife and daughter traveled to Makurdi for the holiday and I asked them to do there. Fresh application, they both did and got it the next day because she went late in the evening. Wife 23,500 daughter 20,000 for the old one. Now the requirements are as follow: 1. State of origin certificate 2. Birth certificate 3. Passport data page of a guarantor (somebody in the office can help you do this. 4. NIN ( for the new one for the old passport they don't request for it. Nevertheless there is a Center close to the immigration office in makurdi were they do the NIN same day and you can proceed to the passport office. If you can travel to Benue state then you're sure to get it same day or early the next day.

well ooo i dont think you should go and apply for the newly enhanced passport in ikoyi ... the process is online sha .. and its a DIY something ... what do i know ...
