Hi Mamas....

Long time I know...

Well, not without a good reason grin

To the glory of God I had my bouncing baby boy on 16th of August at past 9pm.

My heart is filled with joy and overwhelmed.

After almost 7 years of marriage and my first ever pregnancy and ivf procedure(at Grabbo Clinic), God has wiped my tears away with the most beautiful baby.

I pray that everyone here will receive their desired testimonies as well, Amen.

Mummy4life1:
To God be ALL the glory, I got my BFP and Blood test confirmed it. The IVF/ICSI(One ovary, 6 follices was seen, 2embryo was transferred and 600thousand sperm count) was done at Kingswill fertility hospital at Festac after 7years and 10month waiting, he gave me and my husband birthday gift! This is coming after over 7years and 10month of TTC. I prayed to God to show me mercy.

*RESEARCH, research & more research! Pls. don’t put yourself 100% in ANY doctor’s hands without researching your options & being able to request whatever will benefit you and support from a lot of people on the group

*Insisting on the cancellation because of the two embryo but the doctor encourage me to proceed that God can perform wonder's.

In this successful cycle my lining was 9.4mm before intro of progesterone & 11.1mm on day of embryo Transfer.

*Castor oil pack on tummy almost daily for about two weeks

*Sometimes soaking feet in hot water for 20 minutes, before bed (also to increase blood flow to uterus) before retrieval

* Taking pineapple core for five days after transfer

*Insisting on Day 5 transfer: I had made up my mind after research that even if all our embryos appeared to be struggling, no Day 2 or 3 transfer; if they all died before Day 5, so be it. Luckily we had 80% ICSI fertilisation.
*After the transfer, taking DAILY injections (with Dr’s permission) 2ml Gestone and 400mg cyclogest; quite painful & bum already feels like a pin cushion but for me no sacrifice is too much.

What I’ve learnt (the hard way) on my long, long TTC journey:
No doctor, spouse, family or friend, can desire my success more than my own self: I am my own best advocate! My sisters, despite glowing recommendations of any fertility clinic/Dr, do your own research. Never be afraid to ask questions and always try to go with your gut feelings; run/’talk to your feet’ if you have integrity concerns about any of them; I have also learned that though often tedious and inconvenient, it pays to try to prepare as much as one humanly can (castor oil, massage, foot soak, taking Dhea, vit c, vit e, vit d and folic acid etc), before the embryo transfer and above all, to always pray for God’s mercy & intervention

Thank you to the mummies in the house for support. The Almighty that started his miracle will perfect it to nine month. My prayer is that God will answer every one too. Love you All

No near that hospital wey mention u except your money plenty full ground. One cycle for almost two million, drugs excluded which is another 500k. Just one cycle not even re try. Which hospital are you using? If in Lagos I recommend LASUTH for investigations if not doing ivf yet or at all!

Good afternoon people,
I am about to surprise my Elder sister who has PCOS that has resulted in 9years of subfertility and 2 ivf failures with 1million naira to restart her ivf trials again. She's in Taraba with the Husband, thus the closest place for her is abuja.
As much I as know the fluidity of outcomes of this procedure, I also recognize that informed decisions do alter the prognosis abit. In this regard, I would like to know the following.

1. Which ivf center is the most cost-effective in abuja( she and and husband are having financial setbacks so I shall be paying most of the way?)

2. Which one is most flexible in terms of appointments and followup considering their location which makes travelling for Cycle correction and ovarian hyperstimulation inevitable.?

3. I know your chances increase with more cycles.. Which ivf center is the cheapest ast for multiple back to back cycles if néed.

My questions are not exhaustive, this couple have done in Nisa premier and India without success before stumbling upon hard times which is making feeding difficult how much more ivf.. My prayer is that this gesture kickstarts some progress in their lives.

Comments are welcome.

Thanks for having your sister's back, this the kind of the thing I hope to be able to do for people somedays
I live in Abuja and having used both Grabbo and fertilaid, I will say both of them are ok but I will rate fertilaid higher anyday though they are way more expensive.
so since you are looking at multiple trial, I will advice you use grabbo as they are quite affordable.
Also, grabbo just moved to a new facility and have lodging within the premises
You can pm me for any further assistance
God bless

8 Facts on breast feeding.

1. Breast milk is the only food and drink an infant needs until the age of 6months. After 6months the child needs different kind of foods in additional to breast milk.

2. Breast milk is easy for the baby's stomach to take. It makes the baby grow and develop well.

God will surely give you double for the trouble. Please be strong, I feel your pains sis. It will surely end in praise.

quote author=priscaver post=81869054]congrats @ebonynelly our God who answered u will hear our tears too.

My sisters am back here with a heavy heart, I made a wrong decision going to Dr. Moses Fache of El-Rapha, he claimed it was a promo, I spent all I saved with him and ended up with a cancelled circle due to poor response. wished I had learnt from mama Joana40, her experience was similar, Dr Fache moses made me pay through my nose by starting off with hysteroscopic surgery, he would usually charge u for procedure first and you will be thinking it includes drugs and after procedure the will tell you drugs were different. for the surgery I was charged 130k, promolut n and progynova to build endometrium after procedure was 11500.
Blood samples were collected for tests on day too, he only did FSH, lh and prolactin. he said all were normal. I demanded for AMH he said he only does it if FSH is high. we did scan I demanded for AFC, he was angry and told me how he has been doing this for over 15yrs

, I resumed for ivf proper when period started, I started with busrelin on day2 and letrozole (N5000 for 10tabs) from day3, HuMog (300iu) at 24k daily, busrelin (0.2) daily- this was charged different, I started stims and was on it for 8days, he said I only had 2follicles and cancelled and said we could increase dose or I change protocol, this implied I buy drugs and start all over, meanwhile he told me initially my drugs were 400k for procedure due to my age and the procedure was 450k, I later learnt( cos he will make u pay everything before u even get to half of stims) that I was to pay a separate 85k for preparation for embryo transfer, 40 for two hcg,so I paid above 1.1mil,

when he cancelled the circle that only two follies were seen I asked why he could not determine this earlier, and I told him, based on research, increasing dosage has never had any improved outcome, am leaving back to Lagos shattered and broken, as it seems he was not sure of what will bring a better outcome.

Mamas, in Lagos pls help recommend a hospita for your sisterl that has good success for advanced age without pcos. Am 41, i was on Dhea and unbiquinol for more than 3months,, I spent unnecessarily in Abuja, I had bad experience with Androcare and now El rapha, am scared of where to go, I don't want to give up. I am financially drained

I gave a detailed review to save others. the following mamas spoke on this hospital before, @Nobody:,@ ebonynelly, Ebalu953, hope43
Sorry about the failed cycle and your experience with the hospital/doctor. It did seem like he didn't lay the details of the protocol to you beforehand and this is what set you off.
I would make the following recommendations before your next protocol:
Ensure you *know* your blood tests before the protocol starts (especially estrogen, FSH, amh).
Antral follicle count in the IVF cycle. This helps you have an idea of how many potential follicles.
You may need to prep with estrogen for the last 7 days of the previous cycle.
Include vit. c,e,d and omega 3 in your supplements.
DHEA should be micronized and ubiquinol at least 200mg daily.
Have it in mind that the number of developing follicles may or may not increase but you can be sure that the quality is better.
Be open-minded about the chances of IVF.
Finally, do your extensive research. Visit the hospitals and speak to the doctors. Follow your intuition.
Wishing and praying for the best outcome.

Thank you so much mama, the doc claimed he did tests for I and hubby at 100k, I demanded for amh he said there was no need cos my LH, FSH were normal, no AFC, no oestrogen test, I was placed on progynova for 14days and started promolut n on day 13 to 21 along. Most questions annoyed him. I did most of the supplement mentioned. guess I will suggest the oestrogen priming.

It's well dear. God sees your heart and He will grant you your desires, amen.
For me, I will have my questions ready before the appointments and if I am not satisfied with the responses, I ask for clarifications to quell my fears and if I'm still not satisfied, I keep looking for other centers that can help my case.
I wanted to cycle with Grab.bo but I wasn't getting favorable responses to suit my particular situation, so even though the price was enticing, I wasn't sure I would get my answer there, so I'm still looking

It combined prenatal vitamin with COQ 10, innositol (for pcos) etc. A complete fertility diet for ivf patient. Its #30k per container (1month) but I got mine from their distributor at Abuja for #23k.
I wish you all the best of God in your trying
please can you assist with the distributors contact i'm in lagos and will like to buy for men.

congrats @ebonynelly our God who answered u will hear our tears too.

I used Grabbo and God was faithful though I resorted to surrogacy not IVF due to multiple reoccurring miscarriage. IVF with Grabbo was simply the exact money they mentioned,( I only paid more due to surrogate testing wahala as I tested three because two disappointed me along the way, oh and airfares)drugs inclusive till positive test! After that you can pay with them or get a prescription.

My story go soon Dey my blog self on
