superior1:But the people didn't vote on the terms of leaving brexit, I think a second referendum should be given and the terms of those who what out should be inserted. I doubt brexit itself would even get the slim 51% it got now that they know its not beans |

oz4real83 post: "self-assessment" not "self-accessment". Assessment means appraisal, examination. Your opinion is very right. If our politicians do self-assessment", they will realise they are not fit for leadership. Noted, thanks. It was typographical error. 1 Like 1 Share |

Emyben:The problem is that the the involved parties cannot agree on a deal. It's like a husband and wife that have decided to divorce but are arguing over sharing of the properties. Conservatives want something, labour wants something else, the Irish want another and the EU would prefer of there was no brexit. Reaching a compromise that would satisfy everyone is what the fuss is all about. |

Emyben: Okay Brexit means Britain Exits.. They are planning to exit from European Union.. Just like saying Nigeria wants to pull out of West Africa Union Reasons: As one of the biggest economy in the world and in Europe, some policies made by EU is not favouring UK. Some mp's started the move of exiting in 2016 which was later put into referendum. They only explained the good side of it for people without telling them the other side. Majority voted to exit EU through referendum. Now the problem is should they exit from EU, some of the free trades they are enjoying from other EU countries wont be applied to them. The Irish border connects UK to other EU countries.. The problem with the border is , The Northern side of Irish is still part of UK but the southern part are independent ( Republic of Irelands which are part of EU. Should UK exits from EU, the movements of good and services through the border would be hard compared to before.. It used to be tax free on some products, should tax imposed, it would have a large impacts on the price of goods and services in UK. 1 Like |

UK has been part of the EU for years. Basically, trade, healthcare, research, transport, border control, immigration....almost every damn thing is intertwined. Which means they might have to start from the scratch. Most importantly is the trade deal and the Irish border. The EU and the UK need to reach an agreement that will not affect movement of goods and services moving into the UK. It also doesn't help that there is Ireland and Northern Ireland. There is a whole lot of bitter history between the Irish and the English. Northern Ireland is part of the UK, Ireland isn't but it is part of EU. There isn't much divide on both Irish sides and they wouldn't allow a situation whereby any deal reached by EU or Britain affects the relationship, ease of movement from Ireland to Northern Ireland. There are also other consequences that affects individuals like new passport rules, health insurance etc Zane2point4: |
