Good morning guys, so finally had my interview yesterday and it went really well, i must say all that's been said about the dreaded Paulinus were true although thanks to this platform, i didn't have any problems with him. My interview was with the dreadlocks lady and I can confess that she's quite thorough but then thanks to you guys again, i was prepared for her...she even joked that I'll pay her cos i bear the same first name with her. My question now is during the whole process, she asked me to write down the email and FUND ASAP then send confirmation of payment to the mail, however what's confusing me is has the process changed cos from what I've gathered, majority prefer to get their acceptance mail before funding. Pls correct me if I'm wrong n better yet explain better to me. Thanks 4 Likes |

Congratulations on your successful interview, I say successful because for the VO to ask you to fund asap means you passed the first stage, it is now left for the alien office to decide. IN MY OPINION, I think you should fund. sayodele90: |

My TRANSCRIPT - 2/9/19 Firstly, Mr Paulinus is a nice man. You just need to follow his instructions. He made me jumped the queue as he was looking for smart people that will not make him repeat himself and raised my hand. I was interviewed by a guy in cubicle 4. A nice man but he shredded me for booking under Cat A cos I have a 2.2 and said; "if I send you out now you people will say we're wicked". I kept quiet and apologized. Then he asked why I have Sponsorship written on my Application Form and I have Fintiba Transfer form, I explained myself and next was biometrics. While on that he asked if I was married, children and gave me 2 pieces of paper to sign. I was asked to pick the phone. I did. What are you going for? M.Sc. What course? Applied Mathematics for networks and Data Science What was your first degree? Mathematics Why the course? To have an in-depth in Applied Mathematics that has to do with Data Science as I have few years of experience in Data Analysis. What School? Mittweida University of Applied Sciences What is your Bachelor Thesis? I had to spell most of the words here for him. Why Germany? Why not UK, US or Canada? General Knowledge of Germany? Have you ever been to Germany? Do you know anyone there? Gave the name of my two friends studying in Dusseldorf and Cottbus. Also a relative. What's your plan after studies? Return to Nigeria and work with one of the top firms where my expertise are needed with future plan of starting my own consulting firm Any company in mind? Yes! MTN telecommunications, Mainone, PWc. Before cut in. Do you have any questions for me? Yes! Asked if there is problem with me filling Sponsorship on the form and submitting Fintiba Form. He said no problem. I can use either Scholarship/Sponsorship/BA. Also, I asked about the processing duration. Then he said it depends on the proof of sustenance I am using cos they have to send my documents to my alien office. Then wished me Best of Luck. Thanks to everyone. I have met a lot of good people here that are always willing to help. I appreciate you all, may all our dreams come true this year. AL, AD, AM and visum. Trusting God for AM soonest. I wait to testify in couple of weeks. God Bless you all. 14 Likes 1 Share |

sayodele90:You are not correct. Go and fund ASAP. What was said here was that, if you don't have appointment date, its not advisable to fund. |

Guys, this may sound stuppid. I mean so stuppid. But you people should understand. Am running this stuff with my work together and most times, I am busy from 6 am till 9 pm. Coming back, am so tired and wasted. So I barely browse Nairaland. Luck and grace has been carrying me. My interview is coming up soon and I dont have some things yet because I don't really know in full what they are. I may have it but the names here maybe different. Please can someone tell me what these are; (1) Application form (2) Declaration form (3) Age Declaration (4) Motivation letter (5) CV (Is it my normal CV?) (6) Biographic old data (7) Proof of funding (Must I fund before Interview?) Please a good Samaritan should help and break this down for me into specifics. I am grateful. cc FELZ06 Benfaco fibe Obinnafrancis HighPriest0 uzee24 ubipetrus |

CruiseControl: Send me a DM let me help you or better still for the benefit of everyone. The uploaded picture below is the required checklist from the embassy. You are expected to provide the original of each of this document with 2 photocopies. But for the application form and declaration form just print 2 copies and sign after printing. You can fill the application form with a computer using adobe acrobat reader software. You can download the document yourself using this link https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/1015536 1) Application Form: Is the form you fill for your visa. You can download it from the link above. 2) Declaration form: Is a one paged document that requires you to sign indicating that all your documents are original and not forged. 3) Age Declaration: If you were born before 1992 get a high Court declaration of age. If you were born after 1992 get your age declaration certificate from National population council. Make sure you get the original. 4) Motivation letter: If you applied for admission yourself then this should be self explanatory. A motivation letter indicating the reason why you want to study in germany and your plans after studies. 5) A tabular CV will be preferred. 6) Biographic data that is 5 years old and above e.g old school ID card, birth certificate e.t.c 7) I will advise you to fund before interview. 8 Likes 4 Shares
