Which Nigerian Network Has The Cheapest Call Tariff? by Crazeworld(m): 10:56am On Sep 06, 2019 |
I've been using MTN bizplus for sometime now and it was quite cheap but I noticed recently that they charge more than before. So I'm seeking a better alternative. Man must wise up for dis Buhari administration. What tariff plan do you use and what are the charges irrespective of the network you're calling? Or what voice bundle do you use that is budget friendly? Which of the Nigerian Networks has the cheapest call tariff plan? 3 Likes 1 Share

Crazeworld:Yes it is a good plan as it charges 12k/sec or N7.20/min which is fair enough 1 Like |

Living2Living:I checked up on in it. The 1,000 Naira xtra talk bundle gives 3,900 Naira for calls and 300mb data. Per minute charge is 27 Naira. 3900 will give me 144 minutes of call. On my present package, 144 minutes is worth 950. Only the 300mb makes the difference between both plans 17 Likes 1 Share |

Crazeworld:Yes mtn business plus is N6.60 but your first min is N7.50 whereas the airtel package is N7.20 from the very first min 8 Likes 1 Share |

No matter the unwarranted attacks on GLO. I would support them forever. They made telecoms affordable. I just don't have the time to thoroughly dissect that. 1. Per second billing - MTN lied that per-second billing was impossible till 2007. GLO came in 2004 and MTN quickly had to change from per minute billing. 2. SIMs were sold for as high as 30,000. My first GLO SIM was bought for 7,500 when others were 30k. 3. Nigerian Government officials were heavily bribed and GLO was frustrated into paying over $100 million in licensing fees TWICE. Nigerians just love to denigrate their country and what's their own. I have been in over 5 states for extended periods and GLO had great network there. "Nigeria will never be good" "It is made in Nigeria, it can never be good" etc. Yet Americans say the opposite of their own countries. Even Ghanaians are fiercely nationalistic. In case you don't know, many Anglophone criminals in Africa are proud of their own countries and would rather claim they are Nigerians in those email scams. Yes, things are bad but CHANGE starts with YOU and I. It's a collective responsibility. TLDR : GLO is the most affordable.... Etisalat seems the most effective albeit pricy. 105 Likes 1 Share |

AIRTEL! 11K/S Modified: To migrate to Airtel smartTALK 2.0, dial *315# and you will begin enjoying all available awful bonuses attached to this plan. And you can start calling friends, family and everyone in Nigeria for 11k per second all day, all night! Thankfully, it is both for new and old Airtel subscribers. 5 Likes |

Op: Thanks a lot for this post. Of all the network providers listed above, glo is the worst in terms of call rate. Those guys are cleverly wicked! The one that is killing Nigerians slowly that some people don't know is the 'gloyakata'. All their packages is a rip off, to be honest. We don't care about what glo is charging us perhaps, it's an indigenous telecommunication company. They also secretly change the way and manner they charge per call without notice. Again, glo data plan runs like Formula-1 car race. I don't know how the system is programmed different from other service providers. I'm still enjoying my mtn Pulse tariff plan even after many years. #6.6 per minute after the initial first call of the day at #24. Learnt Airtel equally has a beautiful tariff plan as mtn, but I don't use it to make calls. The Consumer protection agency is an empty vessel. Nigerians are suffering in the hands of so many manipulators in the services industry, Banks inclusive 15 Likes 2 Shares |
